Dear Rabbi: Having come so late in life to discover the wisdom in the Hebrew language ( I am 77 yeas old) I would ask to live another lifetime or at least 20 more years to let my soul enjoy your teachings. It is obvious that I need to meditate on - as well as to hear the Truth- but they say better late than never... Shalom

AMAZING ! WHILE WATCHING THIS VIDEO FOR THE MERE PORPOSE OF LEARNING ABOUT "HEBREW LANGUAGE" , I LEARNED INSTEAD ONE OF THE GREATEST LEASONS IN MY LIFE . AND I QUOTE , "IF YOU COMMIT A SIN THREE TIMES YOU WILL RATIONALIZE IT AND SAY IT IS A MITZVAH, BECAUSE WE WILL RATIONALIZE ANYTHING RATHER THAN DEAL WITH THE PAIN THAT OUR SOULS FEEL FROM SINNING." START LISTENING AT EXQCTLY 1 HOUR IN, BUT I SUGGEST JUST WATCHING THE ENTIRE VIDEO FOR ALL OF ITS LEASONS.

    MABUHAY!
    Thank you for your teaching.
Last 2012 two months after my Mom died, I started reading Psalms for comfort, i had Psalm 119 as Chapter for by Bible Reading day. That chapter makes me curious about 22 strange words like Aleph, Beth, Gimel and so on. And at that point I started researching STRANGE words, and i have learned Hebrew Letters, can read Hebrew words in my Hebrew Bible though i can hardly pronounced Others.
In every day bible reading and meditation i used to read also Hebrew Bible after reading the English version and each day is a great discovery. I thank God.

One thing I find very interesting is the prophecy in the book of Zephaniah chapter 3 verse 9:
_“For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.“_
What's really interesting is that the verse that directly precedes it, verse 8, is the only verse in the Old Testament that is a perfect pangram in Hebrew, containing all 22 letters plus the five final letters.

water expands as it freezes. the tiny compact droplet expands fractally as it crystallizes which enables the snow flake to float to the ground not crash. Ice cubes take more space in the ice tray not less, this is why we under fill them so they do not freeze together as they expand.

Thank you, Rabbi. Few teachings have struck me as powerfully as this, which shows how much far greater God is than we are. You have studied to show yourself approved, and yet that is just the beginning. God has so much more to be revealed! I have never before posted a response to any youtube videos before. What prompted me to write this was that for days I have thought about some of the negative feedback you got about prophesy in the New Testament. I'm not a scholar, yet a few teachings have shown me that I believe that both the Old and the New Testament are full of prophesy, some of which has already been fulfilled and some yet to come. He did that not necessarily so that we might know the future, but to prove His mightiness so that we will draw closer to Him. Please let me share a few of those that have amazed me in the past as much as your teachings on the Hebrew characters. For example, He said he would write his name on His Holy City, Jerusalem. Until recently it was impossible to see, but with views from airplanes of Jerusalem, you can see the Hebrew character (I forget which one) that represents His name. Only these recent generations would have literally seen this.
One of the most profound teachings I have heard is of the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. There are 3 items placed inside the Ark that represent man's sinful nature. The broken tablets indicating man's rejection of His law. The burden staff of Moses indicating man's rejection of His leadership. And a bowl of manna indicating man's rejection of His provision. He cannot look upon this sin, symbolically the yearly sacrificial blood was poured on the mercy seat to cover our sins so that He wouldn't look upon it. Yeshua's blood became the ultimate coverage of the mercy seat. Isaiah 53 prophetically speaks to His sacrifice for us. I recently watched a youtube presentation that suggested that the Ark may have been found hidden below ground under the place where He was crucified, and that His blood was literally poured out over the Ark through crevices in the rock. Of course we don't know yet if that was proven, but 'wow' if it is true.
Also I was always bored by the geneologies in scriptures, but they become fascinating when the purpose for them is studied. For example, the explanation that the genealogy list in Matthew 1 show that Joseph, the husband of Mary Yeshua's mother, was in direct lineage of David. showing that Joseph would have actually been king of these Jews. Joseph would have been Yeshua's step-father, and Yeshua would have been the oldest of His siblings. The genealogy in Luke 3 shows that Mary also had direct lineage. So these two lists show that Yeshua would have been literally 'King of the Jews' at the time of His death.
I guess what I am trying to say (I apologize if badly) is that for me life is a spiritual journey, and God can sometimes reveal new truths to me in profound ways. I am unsure how to communicate my feelings of my love and gratitude for Jewish people, and I truly appreciate teachings such as yours that I wouldn't normally have access to except through this public medium. I don't currently go to any church, and have little tolerance for churches, but yearn for God. So again, I thank you for publicly sharing these teachings with others like me.

Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives. [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with Elohim, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Ha'Mashiach Yeshua, Whom Elohim put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show Elohim's righteousness, because in His [Yeshua] divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment. It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him [the saint]who has [true] faith in Yeshua.

In the Bible when the Lord told them to throw the net over the other side of the boat (traditionally the wrong side),,, the Bible continues to say they caught 100 and 50 and 3. Can you tell me the letter for each (I have actually gotten 2 from this lecture) and please tell me THAT word and meaning. It seems to me I'm getting the direction of these lectures ???

Rabbi makes one mistake around 15 min. He said the first time tav is in the Bible is word tohu (emptiness), but actually the first time tav appears is the first word - bereshit. Tohu is the first word in the Bible that starts with tav - not the first word that has tav.

    • @psylence09
      @psylence09 10 років тому +10

The mistake was saying the meaning draws from the first time it's used. He actually meant, the first time it's used as the root of a word, so although bereshit is the first time it's used in a word, tohu is the first time it's used as the root of a word.

Dear Rabbi - when you are talking about truth, I don’t understand why you’re saying that the letter Mem is in the exact middle of the Hebrew alphabet, because I see that the Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters (which is an even number). Mathematically, the only way that Mem (the 13th letter) could be in the exact middle of the Hebrew alphabet would be if the Hebrew alphabet had 25 letters instead of 22.
