I have a 2022 Beta and they are that good. I had my heart set on a 2022 KTM 300xcw. Then I rode a Beta and that’s when I decided I would purchase the Beta. Don’t get me wrong the KTM is a great machine but the beta was just a little better for me. I like the feeling of the carb plus I can change a jet in the woods if need be. Not as easy to figure out what sensor has failed on the KTM in the woods. And yes I have had FI dirt bikes. Sherco is another company that makes amazing machines.
I came off of a '15 YZ250fx and after every months of waiting, I'm now a proud and very happy owner of a '22 Beta 300 Race. One thing I have yet to see mentioned much is the $1k price difference between the 300 RX and 300 Race. I ride 95% trails/single track and never ride in places/times where I need a headight/taillight. I also have zero intentions to make my bike street legal. Really my only gripe is that Beta doesn't offer us a version of this bike that slots into the same use case as the X and FX series of Yamaha YZ's. Doing so would shed weight and cost. Sure, I can purchase a Race harness from Beta to remove all of the unnecessary electronics but I'd rather not have had to pay for them in the first place. Hopefully, Beta USA is already campaigning for such a model so I can upgrade to one a few years down the trail.
I'm considering getting one. How is it accessing parts like piston/clutch/exhaust? Are they difficult to find here?
@@MrSuperflydude No problems, order online from AOMC, and you won't need much.
@@MrSuperflydude Hopefully u didnt get one. I got a RR 250 from 2021 with KYB. Love to ride it but something always break on it, parts are not cheap nor easy to get.
Get yourself a Japanese bike u wont regret it
Try tm racing next !!
I second that!
I got a new Beta 300 RR and I just love the bike . And No I will never ever buy a KTM or one of its clones ever .
Beta used to use KTMs engines. But you’ll see easily that beta has a way better build quality than KTM.
Man thats a sexy bike
Cool to see y'all looking at 2 strokes, and, maybe Enduro bikes!
Finally something other than ktm/husky/gasgas.
TM has been making motocross bikes since like... 1978. They also have pretty good dealer support, they're fast AF, they look beautiful, great suspension, and e-start on the 250t and 300t mx bikes. They're not even THAT much more ($9000-something). People here just.... don't know about them?
Sherco?
@@rollypollyraviolli4474 i heard of those TM's before and sherco as well but i dont know if they make MX bikes
@@bikerdude6119 No. The smaller euro brands are Sherco, Beta, Rieju, TM, GasGas (before KTM, they still make trials bikes)... a couple more maybe? The only ones that make MX bikes of those are Beta and TM. The other ones are trials and enduros. Beta actually hadn't produced an MXer since the early 80's until 2020. They have a 300RX two stroke MXer. tm is the odd one out that they produce a full range of enduro and MXers. But their real focus is on the engines themselves. tm produces some of the most competitive karting engines and even engines for sidecarcross (look THAT up) globally.
Those bikes are works of art.
@@rollypollyraviolli4474 gas gas has a mx two stroke range btw
From the factory open class 2 stroke cool bike I wonder if it could be competitive with 450s they should let a 300cc 2 stroke in the 450cc Mx or sx class
yeah that would be great but Honda and Kawi might get angry
they already do. 250cc 2 strokes race 250cc fours. some places have rules that don't allow 125s to race 250fs until they are over 140cc or 450fs to race 2 strokes that are less than 265cc
@@jacobvanhalteren7452 most, if not all, 450 classes are open classes, meaning as long as its a full size bike, doesnt matter if its a 125 or a 450, you can race in that class
Owning both a 450 and a 300rr the beta is not nearly as much as a 450 coming it around 48hp while most 450s are in the 56-60hp range. Still a great 2 stroke that revs up so well lots of power down low.
@@lidontlo which 450 got 55+ hp?
Just got my 22 RX a couple months ago and I’m loving it so far! Custom Suspension settings were a must at 150 lbs.
Man you were riding the nuts off that bike awesome 👍👍
2t sound is mouth watering
I own a beta 250rr it totally rips!! And its gotva plate!! So i can whip past cops on my 2 smoker and they cant say a damn thing its amazing lol
I would like to see it against the 2023 sx300
Beta ❤️❤️🔥🔥
Kyb is a plus.
Big plus for the Kyb forks.
I love that you effectively use a 100 point rating system.
My buddy got a 22 rr and rx. The rx is way faster. It runs damn good.
I’d assume the RX has a lighter fly wheel to perform better in moto. Me being a off road guy I love my 300rr’s low end grunt
Great video tyler
Super cool bike..
Dang. Just bought my best Navy buddy's unused Husky TC250...
Rika Pancen canggih...
I ride Suzuki rm 250. Best bike ever made.
They would sell a couple with a simple gas tank change. No motocrosser wants a woods tank, and that in white.
Go Blue
I really wanna know where he got the beta fast House jersey 🤔🤔
I’m pretty sure the jersey doesn’t say beta, but since you asked I got it from the local Ducati desert team. They want me to race a Ducati in some desert races.
@@TheMxFactory not your jersey, the other dude.
@@chongorlz9716 standard Fasthouse jersey with a EZ Designs adding additional team graphics.
Its a hear transfer sticker u can buy them through any authorized beta dealer
Do you recon you could make a good GNCC bike out of this or would you start with the RR Race edition as a better base?
I’d go with the RR Race Edition.
Funny how many ignorant people are in the comments
looks like a fun bike!
Yeah my current bike is a 2014 crf250r, had it for about 4years now. Juggling the idea of getting a new 2stroke.... really considering Maintenance wise because of longevity. My bike is almost 10years old, 4stroke, and obviously more expensive to upgrade & fix. I love my bike. But a brand new 2stroke, cheaper overall, and easier to fix... but going from 4stroke back to 2stroke, are just different animals and ridings.... and honestly my skills on a bike are still
Amateur in my opinion lol. So we shall see.
I was in a similar boat with a '15 YZ250fx. Great bike. Had it perfectly set up for me and my riding style but just wanted to try something different and knew that a new top end and clutch were likely not far away. I decided to pull the trigger and ordered a '22 300 Race and honestly couldn't be happier. The updates to the engine for this year really helped tame the power band and give the rider a much more linear feel without making any concessions on power and the ability to wring it out. 10/10 would do it again. Couldn't be happier and can't wait to get back on it this weekend.
@@SoSlo2 I appreciate you sharing man. I've been playing around with the idea of going with the 300 aswell. And as far as my 2014 crf250r, it'll be nice to surprise my little brother back home as a gift to him. So yeah man, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger soon. Amd again, thank you for your input.
Alot of ppl are looking at the beta I love my ktm though
That's a big fuel tank for an MX bike ✊😁
It’s based off a enduro bike and the clear ish fuel tank makes it look bigger but yes 2 1/2 gallons is a lot
What 4stroke is it comparable to?
Because i saw it dyno out at 40HP (same as my YZ250F) but a lot more Torque.
Serious question here for anybody that has this bike or another 300 beta model: is it down on power at 40hp vs the 52 for the ktm?
it is still much faster than a 250 4 stroke.
A 250sx is so hard to beat
How's the vibration feel on it?
My X-Trainer 300 is counterbalanced and smooth. I believe all Beta's are counterbalanced.
I would of thought that it whould be fule injected not carborated
Yeah I don't know why they didn't make it fuel injected considering the enduros range is I believe
After the poor experience with TPI, thank god it's not. Simple, lightweight, fast and cheap.
@@liamwilson1948 none of betas two strokes are fuel injected and after riding on of the ktms it’s not worth it way less responsive and adds weight
@@brannonmeador1792 oh I thought ktm owned beta. What bike did u ride
@@liamwilson1948 they own ktm and husqvarna beta is a family owned company in italy it means Bianchi Enzo and Tosi Arrigo who are the names of the Bosses of the two Families!
Yz450fx is the killer. But not a two stoke obvi..
I bought me one. A 2023. The only thing I hate so far brought it. Is how hard that d*** seat is.? It's almost like right in a bike without a seat. Let's see thumb is super hard other than that. That's really the only thing I don't like about it.
On an mx bike, the seat isn't for sitting for long periods lol
@@MiikeyLawless I'm aware of this. But have you rode a beta before?
First
if red makes it faster than orange 🍊
Nah ktm300xc is the money
“Weighs about the same as Ktm” guys I think them Betas are like 10+lbs heavier 🤡
235 lbs with a full tank (2.5 gal. 15.2 lbs) or 220 without gas. vs KTM 300 SX 219 lbs so the same.
Answer is NO...buy a KTM
nah. Beta has way better build quality.
KTM killer a rebadged KTM
Not a gas gas. Very different
Not anything like a ktm
... Paid for by Beta...
Actually no. Wasn’t even planning on making that video. The guy just showed up at the track and asked if I wanted to try his bike!
The KTM Killer that is a KTM lmao
It’s very very different
@@TheMxFactory yeah I know
I mean production qualitywise. I saw a few broken frames from both factorys over the years, really convinced neither of them is producing long living bikes
Ktm trash
Not a ktm lmao
Did you eat paint chips as a child?
