Based on my calculations, you need to pay at least 1009 gems to get both Psyduck license and skin. If you consider Psyduck to be 750 gems and the skin to be 450 (I don't know the actual price, just an aproximation) then you are getting a very small discount. Of course, if you don't get all possible battle pass points (meaning you need to play every single day till the end of the event), then it gets actually more expensive than purchasing it normally on the store. Not to mention that these numbers only add up because they increased new licenses price from 450 to 750, if you consider the license to be 450 gems then it's an absolute scam.

I was gonna use gems to buy psyduck cuz I thought it was normal and he was in the shop. I noticed he was in the scam pass, and I'm not gonna spend them on the theater style sylveon in the prize machine since I'm still coping about the garbage chest event

They can want 10000 gems for a non-legendary skin and I WILL ALSO BE FINE WITH THAT. The ppl in china spend money on mobile game thus they get an improved version.... Where the global people always play f2p... That's why they need the money to keep.the game going.
