I’m 70 years old and born in the Philippines,I’ve seen all the great singers there.But this young lady is the best of them all,she’s a generational talent and can compare her to the best singers in the world past and present.
To me she is better than Adele, Whitney, Beyonce, Mariah etc. And any more you care to mention.
She has it all, high notes, low notes, breath control, clear angelic voice.
She's definitely bettwler tha Adele. Adele's technique is even that good, but the other three you've mentioned are way above Morissette technique- wise. Mori stilk needz to work her head and low register, also her runs. n@@craigfowler7098

In a land of amazing singers, Morissette will always be the BEST in my sincere opinion. This is no disrespect to anyone. I just have a bias towards this woman's voice. She has all the prerequisite skills of an elite singer - this is a given - but what sets her apart is the quality of her resonance between the C5-F5 belting range. Johnny and Richard have brought it up several times during their 'Morissette journey,' and with good reason. The gates of heaven open when she enters that range, as well as being blessed with that buttery tone throughout her singing range.

Biased is something of your own personal choice. Its not a choice. Its actually the truth. She is a complete package. She has it all. She makes us all feel happy. And, rarely could any singer gives you goosebumbs through a performance. Morissette does that to me all the time.❤❤❤

Power was composed by Kiko (nickname of Francisco) Salazar, same guy who wrote Akin Ka Na Lang. He’s the keyboardist (who played too loud, hehe, as you said, Richard). Same guy who was playing keyboards and singing with Mori in Fly Like a Bird.
I agree that there are so many exceptional singers out there. I have to agree with you also that what sets this young lady apart from the rest is her beautiful warm buttery tone, her ability to perform in just about every genre but most of all the obvious joy she gets from performing

Amay Amon...,Mori's dad, was her main promoter...and she grew tired of small mall venues.....doing covers. Dave was a friend, from 2011 she had done covers with ( available on his channel Dave Lamar )...he was a song writer and...as their friendship blossems...into love...Amay felt....he was , trying to use Mori for his own gain . Mori saw Dave as her soul mate...and...made the tough decision....to stay with Dave...and....learned to write what she is feeling. Love You Still was a 18 months after the split....released in Fall of 2020. Her recent release....Wishing Well is also directed towards her Dad . Xergio Ramos , guitarist in Will You Stay ....produced 90% of the music....on the Signature EP . Nice reaction would be...to her 5 part , Phoenix Digital Concert 10th Anniversary......all parts on her YT channel....amazing production , in which she was excutive Producer....and great band and cinematography .
As far as I know, Morisette and Darren Espanto in Germany and perhaps other really good Filipino singers. I hear it was sold out and greatly received. It would have been if you saw that one. Darren will amaze you for sure as I know you are already admirers of Mori!

There are other great singers out there, but only Mori can sing anything under the sun and make it hers. I would love to hear Mori singing songs from old movies and from the 60s and 70s, but we can not have everything Mori's catalogue of covers is so large just choosing five is almost impossible, choosing something from every Genre there is and Mori will kill it, this is why Mori is the only singer I listen to today, if you choose a great singer, Mori has a cover of at least one song from that singer, and it's more than likely as good or better, it's not just the beautiful voice or tone of Mori, it's everything about her that makes the song just better, I LOVE MORISSETTE AMON. ❤️ and thanks for your reaction. As always, superb, sorry you missed the German concert, so did I, and I live only two hours away by train.

I was 15 rows back for that medley in DC Threeology stop and it rattled my teeth. You feel it in your chest. Her voice is something that must be experienced live to actually understand the resonant magnitude of it.

@@nojcabrera How was the show ? The one I saw she only sang by herself 3 times 75% of the show was 2 male singers both sorta crooners so as far as the show went it wasn’t great. I just wanted to hear her live and see if it sounded like she does in the Wishbus and she absolutely did !! I got the heart medley , Gusto ko na Bumitaw , and Akin ka na lang. that was it ! Everything else was the guys or duets and collaborations! She is a part of an ensemble that has a show in Vegas coming up by Troy Lauretta including Loren Allred , Pia Tuscano and several other artists from Philippines! I’m considering going but am afraid she might only sing one song. I just want to see her sing her originals and some covers for a 2 hour show and it be JUST HER !
@@himlekmcnutt2764 she was here with Darren Espanto. So, she practically shared the stage with him 50/50. It was really entertaining watching the two of them together. I haven’t seen a noontime show in the Philippines for a looong time, but I would expect the format to be quite similar to what they did here (with audience participation and the likes 😉). I didn’t finish the show, because I had to be somewhere else. But they were at it for at least 2 hours! She did a couple of originals before I left, akin ka na lang and will you stay. There are a couple of videos uploaded from this Zoom gig. I missed at least „I dreamed a dream“. It was my FIRST ever concert of a Filipino artist!

Morisette's EP Signature is soooooooooooo good. It's ony five songs and there's something for everyone and she shows she can do any genres. And it's done so tastefully in all her Morisette glory. Not too much or too littler of her Mori-isms. It's such a good album. She was definitely more hands on because she helped co-write a couple of the songs. She's exploring that side more with the encouragemnt of Dave. They're such a good team. He knows Mori's voice inside and out and her ability and skill. They're really such a good team. And I'm so happy to see Miss Shirley Jones too! It's always a good day whenever she shows up.

I have followed Morissette since I discovered her during the pandemic. Thus I have watched many videos of her performances since plus I have watched many videos of reactors reacting on her performances. Your channel has to be one of my favorite when it comes to appreciating true talent. I hardly watch reactor videos anymore mainly because they are disingenuous and only there to gain subscribers and views to build a base for their channel… plus they have no real knowledge and appreciation of music.

You are featuring Jona on Filipino Fridays, so I recommend her "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" duet with Morissette at ASAP Milano - they performed in Milan last year. There is also a version of the Heart Medley by Regine Velasquez at Regine Rocks concert featuring Klarisse, then Morissette, then Jona singing parts of the medley, Regine then finishing it off all three with her. Jona also has a nice rendition of the Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's Magic Flute opera - she does have a bit of conservatory background even if she stopped for her pop career.

Morissette has a natural easy-to-like-and-easy-to-love tone similar to Mariah who just has that beautiful tone. The tone alone is sweet and lovable, IMHO ❤
