The combination of Warlock and Mage has been incredible for me. I've drafted two so far. Mage with Warlock hero power was first and it was the best deck I ever drafted. Thanks to that deck I went through the insane power creep that is arena and, after playing perfectly, went 4-3 because I didn't draw the boards clears or removal that made up over a third of my deck. Now I have a Warlock with Mage power. It's my new best draft. Four Despicable Dreadlords. An Abyssal Enforcer. The 6 mana 6,6 deal one to all and two blastcrystal potions to name a few. It also has a ton of early game to go with the board clears and intense value cards. Every card has a purpose in the deck. My battle plan is to keep the board clear with multiple Dreadlords going off together and just grinding them. I nearly lost to a Rogue Paladin when three of those Dreadlords were the bottom nine of the deck. The other battle was against a Paladin Hunter who lost when he played a buff into my spellbender. I currently stand at 2-0 with it, I'm savoring the moment, and the only flaw is a lack of card draw. Fortunately there are almost never any useless top decks. If you want the ultimate defense in arena history give the Warlock Mage combo a try.
had a war axe get oozed by 4/3, played silithid, it got ignored and he developed tortoll defender. i swung in with arcanite reaper and summoned a free taunt pirate. he death coils my silithid, gluttonous oozed my arcanite, and dropped poison snail. i then play forbidden tentacles, and got cleared by the dreadlord. i ended my crappy warlock warrior deck on a one win arena. fun.

A) i picked warlock and got a choice of hunter and shaman, and i was dumb and thought there would be synergies with warrior B) i did not get a good deck C) i don't play arena ever, though i watch some of kripps videos on the matter D) that last game i got diced harder than kripp does on a regular basis, i admit that. still the most BS hearthstone game i've ever had.

wait... if you have a arena deck made before the event, does it get destroyed? (since you get an adition ticket) if so, the old sniper decks are over? that would be a big change
That's what Heartharena needs to fix. If they see you have a prince they warn you to not take cards of those values, not say "We need a two drop" when you have Keleseth.
please try rogue. with pretty much anything. rogue has among others the peddler that discounts all class cards of another class. then there is the 3/3 weapon for 4 mana with a 1 mana discount for every class card played from another class. you get thieving synergy with your own deck.

Kripp, how should I go about trying to get into competitive hearthstone? I don't stream or post UA-cam videos because I feel like it would be extremely tough to gain a large following. I'm from South Africa, so the competitive scene isn't massive, but there are tournaments here and there. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Played against a Warlock Priest today he had both Shadowreaver Anduin and Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Kripp thinks he is never lucky....I still won though :D

yeah same, he had an ultimate infestation but he didn't shuffle his jade idols so he died of fatigue

Went 7-3 with aggro/midrange hunter priest, i'm fairly happy since I never play arena and when I do I usually got 5-3 or lower
