    Finally, someone to review the Ferocity. Still on the fence between this one and the Drive X for my next bow.

    • @mcjaypee
      @mcjaypee 6 років тому +1

      I've shot both. The Ferocity has a much smoother draw cycle considering it's slightly slower, and it's $100 cheaper. To me it wins. And I love the Drive cams. If you want a slightly more stable, longer ATA, slightly faster bow, go with the Drive. They are both awesome but if it were me, I'd pick up the Ferocity in a heartbeat.

    This bow has more like a Hoyt or Mathews style limb geometry and position, which is a nice change. It has a very compact look too. Nice touch PSE!

    Great review as always. You're determined to turn me into a PSE guy. The eXpedite is at the top of the list along side the Centergy Hybrid. Gray is going to be the color of 2018. Best to you and yours for the holidays and coming years.

    React = Response. Renamed due to other archery manufacturers using the name React. Same thing happened with the Realm, which was renamed to Ramped. BTW, just shot a Ferocity today, and this bow is an absolute shocker at it's price tag. It shoots and holds very well for a short bow.

    You’ve got me hooked on PSE. I’m torn between getting the Ferocity RTS Pro or the Brute Force RTS Lite Pro. Which is the better bow in your opinion?

    You say you shot better with the Stinger. Did you use a back release aid with the Stinger? I’ll bet you’d be more accurate with a thumb.
    I’m seriously looking at the Ferocity but I wish it had an extra inch or two in axel to axel.

    Steve, if you are going to shoot fixed-blade broadheads, would you be worried about cam lean? Your answer will help me buy my next bow. Thank you! BTW, I binge watch your reviews because they're that good.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale 6 років тому

      thanks. I dont worry about much. cam lean on all bows should be minor. what you are really asking about is tunning broadheads against field points. One reason why mechanical broadheads are huge. firts is you want to stop the arrow drifting so helical fletch. more spin is good. so you start with field points then you shoot broadheads. They should hit the same spot. If they dont move your rest a little. Should be simple. I have only used NAP Thunderheads which shot great. But I know it can be an issue. But the biggest issue is normally fletching.

    If I buy the 60lbs version, how much can I lower the draw weight? PSE don't specify that but on a site they say it goes from 24 to 60lbs and 28 to 70lbs.

    Wish you would compare bows to non-PSE bows, if you dont have experience with those i guess its understandable.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale 5 років тому

      PSE have bows at all price points, Bear and Mathews do but not the same range. In my store I carry Bear and Mathew and Hoyt, customers generally find PSE better value. The Elite, Obsession I tend to compare due to similar design, My next review will be the Elite Enlist which I think is similar to theold Bowtech Tomcat. PSE is the largest so the best known, at the ATA show PSE is always happy to compare their bow on speed, specs, features and price to other bows on the market, other manufacturers are less happy to do so.

      I was more curious how this compared to the hoyt powermax. Dicks is having a 25% off sale (dont know if they have those in aussieland), and this is one of the bows for sale along with the stinger extreme, brute force lite, ramped, and bear moment. Im an intermediate recurve archer and was not planning on getting into compound just yet but considering how good of a deal that is im very tempted to get a compound right now.

      LegitimatelyAxeL sad thing is that they come out with a "new" halon every year. The 30, 32 and now the triax. The triax is a halon but 28inches and different dampeners

    • @xfactoroutdoors165

      Or the archery research velocity. Another pse brand. The mach x and velocity were in 2006. So 12 years ago pse made a halon.
