Thank you! I love sunflower microgreens in my salads-crisp, succulent and tasty. They are so different from the sprouts I grow (broccoli or radish or onion) that it’s great to have BOTH to add to a salad.
Hello… This came up on my utube feed just in time. I love these. Is there certain kind of seeds for growing sprouts? The small batches are what I need to do. I’m so sorry for all the complaints in the comments People want you to keep seeing your vids they should be considerate. Great video thank you 🤩. Question. How do you make the kelp water??
Hi. First time I have watched your video. I couldn’t quite hear what your medium consisted of. I heard coconut?, and worm castings. I couldn’t hear the 3rd part of your mix at all. Thank you for sharing this video. Patty
My thoughts exactly. Great tutorials but I do successfully grow healthy, lush, mold-free sunflower microgreens without having to run all that 💲🚰💲down the drain....🤔
First time watching your videos! I have enjoyed watching how you grow sprouts. I do have a question about you sprouting the popcorn and the sunflowers you eat those greens. If so do you add it to any other food or eat them by themselves?
Well, I can tell one thing right away: you are not on tank water at the end of summer! I never let that much water go down the drain - if I were rinsing and draining seeds like that (unlikely - except for buckwheat), I'd be draining them into a bucket to water my plants!
Thank you for posting this! I've been struggling to get my sunflower seeds to sprout without soil in my stainless steel tray, but it seems soil is the way to go. I think I caught that 75% of the soil mixture was coconut coir, but I couldn't hear what the 25% was (cute dog squeaky toy in the background!) Could you please tell us what you said? Thanks!
@@zeal78 Thank you! Also, I had no idea the coconut coir would expand so much. Learning as I go along. The seeds I ordered from you so far seem much better quality than some I bought from another company.
Cool video, a little long, but I will be growing some asap I need seeds 😬 I finally put seeds in the ground some are growing, I thought I had planted mammoth but one is 3 feet tall and already flowing I think I planted too late
Does that screen jar say 🐦seed? I ordered from Rex Products Inc in 2020 and they grew productive. Ordered again in 2024 trying to save money Ol Potters and it was more foreign debris. I'm terrified to try to human consume birdseed again. 8s it really a bad thing? The FDA and government will tell us anything! 🌻🌱's Rock!
I'm.learning so much for you 🤩 it's my first day and I'm so exited, please pray my plans grow and I success in this beautiful adventure
Thank you! I haven't made these in years. I've been meaning to again. This helps to give me the inspiration I needed.

Really good thanks, can't wait to try it!
Tank you for the great video!
Great video! Thankyou!!
Thank you very much, I have been thinking about growing microgreens as a small buisness for a while now.
🌱
Yaay you're back

Correct yes, 75% coconut coir and 25% earthworm castings (4:1).

Have you done basil in the steel screen pan?

Which one is this stainless steel sprouter, the large (7,5 inches diameter) one or the smaller (6 inches) one?
Do you ever worry about Ecoli or Salmonella?
Coloque legenda...
What is in the water you pour on the plants? It is definitely a brown color.
The seeds cause the water to brown.
Water with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of kelp added.
great instructional video. can you remove the spining around at the end. it may feel cute to you, but it's dizzyingly unnecessary and not cute.
Thank you for trying to teach how to sprout the seeds. It is too long of an explanation. I will not try your site again.
Sanitation is very Important and I don't like the long Dirty nails ! no Good
Great video ( i am a farmer, micro greens grower, dirt farmer, sprouter) and I learned from your expertise! Thank you.
That was fun. Thank you for taking the time to document that process. The Ira sighting was a sweet bonus.
I grow these regularly on hemp
