Thanks! Great suggestion - we actually do provide anti-corrosion paint. We forgot to include this in the video when on-site, but it's in our install instructions!
It is also very nice to protect the exposed metal in the drilled holes with a paint protectant. Touch-up paint, nail polish, or similar. We do not want rust developing in out of sight places.
Vans have sliding side doors in the UK so they would be no good! And another problem is that the position that you have fitted them does not stop door pealing/bending of the door to gain entry.
@stephenrutherford6182 Good comment, though quite a few customers have already sent photos of their van doors absolutely bent, but the lock is not budged, nor did they gain access to the door. These locks are insane.
This is why I want to do everything myself. Imagine paying for professional installation, and they dont put anything on the exposed metal from drill holes.
Now everyone knows you have valuable cargo, bend open te top of the side slider door or cut your roof. By the way your lock rust out in a few years, I don’t like the “ unprofessional “ way you installed it at all.
Many thanks for this interesting video. I have a small suggestion: the drilled holes should be protected from rust with paint

Good video. I would also paint the inside of the holes with something similar to Rust-Oleum to avoid corrosion.
Def. want to use a center punch first before drilling.

What are you doing, the doors are not in a straight line? Like a Citroen Berlingo.
You really should paint those holes with auto primer.

Son los mejores candado de seguridad para furgonetas
Wow this guy is amazing
😂 thanks Fernando... great work.
They cut around these locking systems.
Perfecto
👍
I would open this door in under minute
Make a video
All fun and games until someone fucks up the lock then what?
They cut right through these in seconds, would not recommend
Like dis and like dis and dis then do dis…and dis…dis (this) and like dis
Too many holes = RUST
Anti-rust/anti-corrosion paint comes with the locks and works very well in preventing rust through all seasons.
