Would it fall under the Shimano warranty claim.. Seeing how it's 10 years? My Stradic is making a sound when there's tension & I think it's that line roller
I've got the Shimano Saros, with the same line roller. All I've got to say is; what a overly complicated stupid design. Mine has problems sliding back and forth within the bail wire assembly, causing the line to get wedged sometimes between the roller and the housing. Never again. I've switched to the Penn Battle iii cnc way better reel IMO.
bro, great vid, detailed precised. mine to share where you got the replacement line roller from?
Thanks mate. You can purchase parts directly from Shimano Australia. Otherwise you can find some aftermarket parts on Ebay.
U should have some grease on both sides of line ruller ! Yes u may lose a bit of smoothness ( under light tenssion ) towards long term durability.
I’ll love to see an catch n cook video.
what is the model number for this stradic 5000 line roller bearing?
Would you happen to have a link Aura part number for that particular bearing??
Sorry mate, it's been to long. I would recommend searching for the Stradic FK schematics online.

I'm not sure about warranty, but you can give them a call. The line roller is not too expensive, so I just did it myself.
excelente video me ayudo mucho.

Penn & Daiwa bail arms and rollers seems to perform better than Shimano. But Shimano's line lay is on another level.
Oil decreases the life span of the roller. No oil! Doesn’t need oil or grease and doesn’t have any on it to begin with
Those finger nails tho
