I used to use this strategy in 2018. I almost always experienced a case whereby both my pending orders trigger during the release; so if the news are positive it would first wick to my sell stop then run to the buy stop. I ended up dropping the strategy.

I was using the same strategy on two different accounts. One was my mega account and I made the mistake to show the balance on the account instead at the end of the video. But the same strategy was used in both accounts. Hope that helps 😊

Hello, At min 6, you say to put stop loss but you didn't. I also trade news and, sometimes my trade did not open. After I talked to my broker they told me the problem was the intense Volatility of the market. Infact im this case the spread raises a lot and if between the buy stop and the stop loss there are for example 20 points and the spread is above 21, the trade won't open. This is why your example here is not compatible with the reality. Also, sometimes I have set a Buy stop and when the trade went in my direction, it opened at an higher price and therefore there was almost not profit. Also here, my broker explained me that I set a buy stop but there was not position available at that price so it opened at the first available. I think trading the news is cool but there is more to say. I would like to see a video where you trade as you did, but instead of putting the TP, you simply set a trailing stop and let the SL raise and follow the trade. That would help a lot. Is it possible please?

Straddle strategy is very effective in the Fundamentals/news trading forex.
