  • Last week we were thrilled to be back in the air once again after finding the solutions needed to ensure the protection of everyone on board our aircraft from Covid-19. Our Critical Care Paramedics Jess & Lee put this message together to let you all know that they and their life-saving team are responding once again by land and by air.

What type of helicopter is that which you currently operate please? I cannot make it out on this picture.
Many thanks for the excellent service that you and all your colleagues provide.
As I am in london I support the london air ambulance service by monthly contribution and membership of their lottery.
P.S. Once all Covid restrictions are eventually lifted, I would be happy to bring my life sized Dalek to any of your fund raisers. It generally attracts a lot of attention and generates considerable amounts of revenue for whoever it is collecting for.
A grateful member of the public.

Hi Paul. The aircraft shown is an EC135, which flies from our North Devon base. We also have an H145 which is based at our Exeter airbase. More information can be found on our website at www.daat.org or please do feel free to ask more questions. Thanks also for your kind offer.

Should be using ambulance Battenberg markings on your vehicles, similar to London Air Ambulance. Using non-Home Office markings will confuse motorists.
