  • Golfers don't hit driver as far as they should because they are unaware of 3 small adjustments they need to make in the golf swing. In this golf video Danny Maude gets straight to the point and explains exactly what you need to do to quickly gain accurate yards with the driver.
At the start of the golf lesson Danny explains the number one reason why you don't generate enough club head speed, and it has nothing to do with your age or ability
He then gives you a process to follow that will immediately start to straighten up any ball flight. Obviously on a golf course you don't want to be changing too much at once so the 3 golf tips are given in order of importance.
Golf Tip 1 will instantly get you hitting driver further Golf Tip's 2 and 3 focus on making sure the golf ball set's off online so you hit the centre of the fairway.
Nobody seems to get told this and as a result spend years struggling to hit driver straight. I hope this helps you in your quest to be a better driver of a golf ball,

    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On UA-cam and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

After watching this, I quickly got ready and went and did a 9 hole at my local course, I did the swish and whoosh, jeez it really worked for me, i was a slicer. i actually did it with my voice, went back shouted swish, went forward shouted whoosh, i was amazed. what came to mind is when you said the old chap was scared to throw it back and forth that was me, not any more, I know with practice I will hit the ball further. giddy as owt. Used these techniques this morning and I have to say I gained probably forty to fifty yards off the tee because one of my weaknesses with driver is not opening or closing the door on every tee shot. After watching your video this morning before the range opened, your use of “opening and closing the door” gave me one swing thought that I needed before teeing off and that was all it took. As someone who often got in trouble for "swinging too big" on the playground, this is a perfect thought as to the biomechanics of how we generate speed with our bodies. I've been chasing my tail recently, with individual swing thoughts during my swing, throughout an entire round. How this metaphor encompasses the whole process really helps more than any specific tweak would. I find that to be the case with most of your instruction. You have to be pretty accomplished already to benefit from why a professional has quirks in his or her swing that might help you gain some distance.

    Dear Danny,
the instructions in your videos have taken my golf game to a whole new level.
I have implemented your latest advice from recent videos on the Driver. What significantly helped me was (1) "letting go", no longer trying to control the swing, (2) adding momentum and (3) collecting the ball instead of hitting the golf ball in my swing.
As a result, I have increased the median of my shots from 204 m (223 yds) in May to 223 m (244 yds) in June, and hit more fairways than ever. Last week I was able to hit the farthest shot of my life: 270 m (295 yds). Not bad for a 54 year old, I think.

You are probably the best teacher on UA-cam to help come up with metaphors for the feelings in the golf swing. It really helps when that feel vs real kicks in when you are trying to hit “positions.” This helps the sequencing in the swing without making people thing about 3 or 4 different parts of the body or positions. Really good feeling. I’m a 6 handicapper and my driving is probably my strength. I still took something from this. You would have thought something as simple as this is only for people starting out. Great video as usual. One thing I've taken from your videos is how little time you spend over the ball. I've started trying to speed up the process and avoid any negative thoughts. It is helping. Thanks again for greta content.

Another excellent video. The "swing" movie really helps - watching Danny on the swing set. A 10 -minute lesson like this makes a terrific start to a Saturday morning, a highlight for me each week. THANKS.

Thanks Danny for your continued clear, concise explanation of improving golf swings. I've been told by not to listen to UA-cam instructions, but I believe carefully selecting which videos to watch have been extremely helpful. Great visual and audio presentations make for good learning. Thank You!⛳

Obviously another great lesson Danny. I have stumbled to this point recently, loosening it all up and improving everything. I’d subscribed to the concept but had been stuck in trying to ensure my body stayed completely around a 100% static axis. I now swing through and wow

Two thoughts. 1 - It's about timing the shot, ie the door. 2 - Problem for me is so many things golf swing thoughts they get in the way of "collecting the ball" when I'm out on the Course. Recently my best golf was after no golf for 4 weeks and so my "golf mind" was decluttered. Next round I was back "thinking" and was lousy.
