So a radian is basically the angle of an "equilateral" slice of a circle. I get that. What I want to know is why is it important to know this? What are some practical applications of radians?

how to find the value of tan, sin , cos of any acute angle like tan20 , tan 25, sin 79 without using calculator?.....if there is any way pls tell me ...or tell me the method that calculators use to find any value of sin, tan and cos .....pls
I saw so many videos of this topic 10 to 14 minutes but still didn't get it but you explain it in 5 to 6 minute in very simple manner thanks and also did you have videos on trignometry
+Prathamesh Khandare , Circumference is the length of the boundary of the circle. And an arc is a part of that boundary. The number of arcs required to cover the circle will depend on the length of each arc, which can vary! Hope this helps :)
Thought i am not a Person from their Team i am helping you for the sake of Goodness so please pray for me. *Now your Problem i will try to solve it matematically* We know, circumfrence =2 π r There fore for your assumption. Circumfrence = 6 r (not 6.28) :-- 2 π r = 6r 2 π ÷ 6 = r÷r 1.047 = 1 ( _as by taking 6_ ) *but* *If 2 π r = 6.28 r* 2 π ÷ 6.28 = r÷r 1.0005=1 ( _as taking 6.28_ ) Therefore *1.0005* is more *closer to 1* than *1.047* *Hence it is 6.28 times raduis* Thankyou.
Thanks for video, i know a circle's arc which as his radius equals to radian and they say a circle has 2pi surround and again i say then shouldnt it be avarage 6 radian but you conduced me to realize that there is an pi number not only radian and then i get the answer, thanks. by the way as a turkish guy im glad to be able to speak english and it was hard to write that comment xD
+Prateek Pravanjan , radians are just another way to measure angles. Some mathematicians say that radians is a better and more logical way to measure angles. A radian is the angle that an arc (equal to the length of the radius of the circle) subtends at the centre. But what's the logic behind having 360 degrees in a circle?

super but please explain Parralax method
please answer this question what is the diffrence between circumference and no of Arc required to cover the entire circle
+Prathamesh Khandare , Circumference is the length of the boundary of the circle. And an arc is a part of that boundary. The number of arcs required to cover the circle will depend on the length of each arc, which can vary! Hope this helps :)
I drew a circle and measured its circumference to verify it but I get exactly 6times of radius not 6.28 times; why so?
Thought i am not a Person from their Team i am helping you for the sake of Goodness so please pray for me.
*Now your Problem i will try to solve it matematically*
We know, circumfrence =2 π r
There fore for your assumption. Circumfrence = 6 r (not 6.28)
:-- 2 π r = 6r
2 π ÷ 6 = r÷r
1.047 = 1 ( _as by taking 6_ )
*but*
*If 2 π r = 6.28 r*
2 π ÷ 6.28 = r÷r
1.0005=1 ( _as taking 6.28_ )
Therefore *1.0005* is more *closer to 1* than *1.047*
*Hence it is 6.28 times raduis*
Thankyou.
Good video
Thanks for sharing :)
great explanation!
yes its helpful..

Homework: Make a clock with 3 lines from the centre of a circle out to the correct positions of seconds, minutes and hours in a computer coding app.
Have know this Grammar School more than 65 years ago. However, if we had had the internet then, I could have been maths genius.
on calculator when I divide 180/3.14 to find the value of 1 radian in degree the answer is coming 57.3248408.........why?
Please explain in Hindi also for better understanding
Angles are angles
radians are distance traveled in curve?
Thanks for video, i know a circle's arc which as his radius equals to radian and they say a circle has 2pi surround and again i say then shouldnt it be avarage 6 radian but you conduced me to realize that there is an pi number not only radian and then i get the answer, thanks.

How 1 radian comes? Explain this
amazing
John Brasely Thank you :)
I dont get one thing......what is the purpose of radiants?........can some1 give a simple example
In trigonometry class 11 there is 1 radian is equal to pie by 180. Why????
thise is good
Please translate this in Hindi also thanks
😀like
Great

Wowwwww
When you write number of arcs where goes r from 2 pi r
why in every 30 degrees its pi over 6?
+Michael Seals , that's because Pi is equivalent to 180 degrees. And 180/3 = 30 degrees. Hope this helps :)
Thanx
