I love when you use the "oldie but goodie" products and give them a new lease on life. That bird is amazing. SpLatter adds so much interest to everything. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve learned that it’s easier to distress the card edge if you first use the Deckle Edge Trimmer and cut off a teeny tiny bit of the paper. Then take your scissors or distress tool to the paper. The paper edge is roughed up faster with little effort-and more importantly, you achieve an edge which doesn’t smoosh down.
What a wonderful and happy card. Your mistake with the splatter really made the bird lovely. A happy mistake and just another use for the distress pencils. Thanks so much.
Love this card! Even your “clean and simple” cards look fancy! ( more dressed up) Thank you for showing so many ways to use the distress watercolor pencils. I am growing quite fond of them.
Wow, gorgeous! I have trouble not using all the bright colors, rainbow, etc. But brights aren’t always appropriate, like sympathy cards. I’m going to try these colors, SO pretty! Leave it to you, you’re so good Amy!
I have the scorched timber pencil. Obviously need all the other pencils. Since there are 73 pencils and 72 wells in the alcohol ink trays. Trying to decide which color to leave out. Picket Fence or Scorched Timber. Tim Holtz said no plans to have open stock pencils now. May need to buy a second set to do dipping method and keep other set for "normal"/intended uses. Have you gotten the new WF postage stencils (beach and 4th of July)? I LOVE your channel!
Dang Amy!!! This is Outstanding. I love the color combo and your amazing Distress watercoloring. And yes... Every little component of this card is perfection 👌😘
Beautiful card and you absolutely nailed the challenge! I have half of the pencils, but have little creativity when it comes to using them. Your use of the pencils in several ways was inspiring. Thank you!
Distress pencils are my favourite distress medium - still do not use them it enough. I have accidentally splattered with them and gone wow and carried on splattering. Love the card
I’m binge watching your videos and, while I love the other videos you made, I was very excited to reach this video. I love, love, love the neutrals with a pop of color as well as the simplicity of the card. I just recently purchased sets 1, 2 & 3 pencils, thanks to you. Now, I will have to give it a go. Thank you, Amy.

Love love this card.
The way you colored the bird gives the illusion that you sketched him. ❤
I think you need a clean and simple series! Cause you do it so well! Gorgeous
