Delightful! Our Yiddish Club just featured this song, so I'm sharing your video with folks in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. Hope you are well over there in London. (Zayt gezunt.) But how are you Maurice but also Samuel?

      Hello,
Thank you for your kind compliment. I appreciate this. Things are difficult in london at present. I hope that you are managing to cope over there. My first name is Samuel and my middle name is Maurice. Zayt gezunt

@@SamuelPeckman It's not too bad where I am. We're just shut in, and I run our Yiddish Club via Zoom. But both of my sons live in NYC, which I'm sure you know has been hit very hard. My younger son (33 and healthy) got the virus, had mild symptoms, recovered, and has already been able to donate plasma which hopefully has saved a couple of lives. So that's a blessing. But for both sons, like millions around the world, lack of income for almost 2 months already is tough. Stay safe, Maurice. Zayt shtark.

      @@OtisFan1 Sholom Aleichem,
What you have told me is most interesting. I myself have no children as I am not married. However, I can sympathise with your feelings. Thank you for sharing my song with the other Yiddish group. I love to sing many kinds of songs but a special favourite is Yiddish songs. You probably know that I have several Yiddish songs on UA-cam. I am not a Yiddish expert. I cannot hold a conversation in Yiddish but my Weinreich Yiddish English dictionary means that I can understand what I am singing. I also enjoy English translations of Yiddish stories. One such story is 'If Not Higher' by Isaac Peretz which I have put on UA-cam. Your Yiddish group sounds most enjoyable. I daresay you have many expert members.
      Zayt gezant and best wishes
      Maurice
