Education vs Experience... Which would you rather have? Remember, experience only comes with time where education is much quicker.
Experience is the best education.
I love this new guy you took on, education is key along with education comes experience, The Best of Both Worlds love talking to somebody on the phone that can teach me something about my passion, makes me more interested the more I know about it. like I wrote before on your channel you guys needed a watch Doctor LOL.
Interdisciplinary is the way to go!
Experience. . That kid makes me want to unsubscribe.
That boy is hungry..good hire !
Marco not only has knowledge but the enthusiasm he has for the industry shows in his approach. It seems it’s infectious for customers and potential clients to have the confidence in his knowledge and attitude towards the industry. He’s a blessing to anyone who’s can keep him. Great mind.
Finally the GREY MARKET we were waiting for. Amazing episode love it. Wish it was longer but still nice to see the LB life in all its colours.
Marcos gonna become a problem starter in the office, already you can see it in the staffs faces 😆

Dear ROME, I never get tired of the amazing example you set for the members of your company. The constant education, support, accountability, but with a wholesome family vibe is unequalled, not only in the watch industry but in business as a whole. I am proud and privileged to have a role model like you at my fingertips on UA-cam. Just a big thankyou and kind regards Ben from NZ 😉😎👌👍👏
P.S. your welcome to stay for free at my house if you ever visit N.Z. 😉 and me and my family will treat you like our own and show you the beautiful place we live.... Kind regards Ben
@@benjaminblakemore9704shit Ben now I want to come stay at your place you sound like a awesome dude lmao
Great content. I agree that I’m sick of the gate keeping on who knows the reference number of a watch. Complete turnoff. Much more important to know details/history about what makes each watch special.
I agree but the reference number is part of a watches details & history
Reference number is part of the watch, the identity, it tells a story.
@@carlstevens4981 no one on the street when someone walks up to them and says whats that watch youre wearing do they reply its a rolex reference..... 🤦🏼♂️
@@itskoota I never mentioned anything about that, when you're selling an expensive watch, you should know all about it.
Hell yeah shout to Collin, busting his ass building structures with a Submariner on his wrist. Very cool to see a tool-slinging brother on your channel and in your clientele.
Bringing him around the office showing why he’s better than everyone else is gonna make him supper popular…
Bobby Hill is killing it lol.
Just getting into the watch world, found your channel because of Nico. As a fellow Canadian and Quebecer myself, Marco makes me want to buy a watch from you now!
when someone develop such vast knowledge at a young age. it's passion and you don't hold back passion. you empower it. I've lived a long time and I've never been passionate about anything. believe me, I've expressed myself to a lot.
Loved the music choice for Chris and Marco "The Odd Couple"🎶🎵🎼👏👏👏
Knowledge comes from love and experience in your chosen field. So experience all the way. Keep reading and listening to the experts in you field.
Lol Pugsly taking shots, “GD Chris, did you do all this yourself?” holy hell 😂
Marco comes across it as a know it all, might not be the best person to work in a team
Or it could be a great exchange of skills!! We will get to see… 👍
AND he got the info on the Zenith Defy 21 wrong. it is 1/100th of a sec and the chrono hand makes a revolution around the dial once every second. They even tried to cover it up by slowing down the video, nice try
@@aloon-jv3ki yes noticed that slip up!!
Couldn't resist being the first guy well done guys.
The RM trade for the Rolex's, that guy made out like a bandit!
Experience. Education doesn't always solve problems needed to do the job. Sometimes you need that gut feeling/instinct.
Cool Video Guys! Welcome to the team Marco! Sounds like you really know your stuff!!!
That zenith is a 1/100th of a second Marco!
Experience for sure. you educate yourself thru others and your own experiences. Wise people seek both. Great team and great content.
Marco is a great move!!
Excellent video again - love the trilogy
There is a difference between, books smarts and streets smarts. Books Smarts does not translate to working with people and sales is all about people.
Being able to judge peoples tone of voice, body language and that “feeling” you get when you sit opposite and looks into the whites of someone’s eyes.
If you apply yourself, knowledge on any topic can be acquired, people skills are much harder to learn and adapt to.
110% concur! You can't be a good salesman just based off knowledge. You have to have that charisma that goes along with it. I could sell an Eskimo a freezer.
There's an enormous difference between street and book smarts
BOBBY!! Never forget, STEEL SPORTS ROLEX!! Keep hustlin'. Marco Mosso incoming.
ninna is so good on social midia, u guys should let her appear more! she loves what she does!!! marco?? no words! he has born for that business! he is amazing!
What’s Bobby hill doing working there?
great video, I always learn watching your videos
Rolex claims that the green sapphire crystal in the Milgauss is “not patented, as it is so difficult to make that no one else would even venture to try.
You don't get knowledge from being passionate, you get knowledge from reading. Passion is a motivator for learning.
Hey Alex, I prefer the Oyster on my 1966 1675 GMT Master!! When I first bought the watch is Switzerland in 1967 it came with an Oyster expansion bracelet, but it finally wore out as I used as my dive watch and when I sent it to Rolex for service they replaced the expansion with a regular Oyster. Wish I had the origional expansion that it came with!! BTW, when I bought it, it cost me US$138.00 at Bucherer in Lucerne
Welcome to Marco! Always be teachable is a motto I try and live by, there is always something to learn and we can learn from anyone. Marco is definitely a challenge to us all in this area. All the best!
There is no such thing as a stupid question the answer could be sitting right across from you !

Marco looks like he'll be a great addition to the team. I'd like to see him and Marco of Grand Caliber chat some time about vintage Rolex, see how well he can hang with him. (And it'd be funny to have two Marcos talking).
Cool idea
Marco is a good guy he doesn't like the flashy dumb crap and I personally think he made a great move starting up his own company because I feel like his ex partner is going to plummet or get in trouble for some dumb stuff so he did good separating himself from that mess ❤️ much love marco
What do you mean you’re very vague, is luxury bizarre his ex where is it a different company?
Marco never left?
aaaand it happened
Must be nice to have a boss that believes in you and respects you, never had that. Marco is extremely fortunate

Heuer did in fact deliver the worlds first automatic chrongraph movement in the Cab 11 Monaco....Zenith missed out and came second. If he said Zenith had the worlds first integrated automatic chrono he would be right as the Heuer consortiums movement was modular not integrated.
Seiko beat them all by a couple months. First sales in February 1969.
Congratulations Marco Ferrante . Mr. Sharf this was a very good video , and you have a great team Sir , also it was really good to see Marco .
Michael Jordan didn’t have teams to play against. Rockets, jazz, pistons, blazers, spurs. Cmon guy. Jordan is the goat. Not to mention beating out the great teams of the late 80’s
🤣🤣🤣🤣 "he threw 20 three pointers in 10 years of course his % is high" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 too funny!! No question.. Jordan is the GOAT. But thank you from San Antonio Steve Kerr. You were very crucial to two of our championships

Pugsley is no Tim Mosso though he projects as such. He will be about as popular as TGV was at Watchbox!!
Harsh!!!
Dude, I have NEVER in all my years seen or heard anyone throw down a “Pugsley” reference that struck gold but good god what a pleasure it was to finally witness. Took me a second to realize the callback to The Addams Family but holy hell I’m still laughing about it. 10/10, agree with reference and that yes, he is probably going to annoy more than impress.

Everything turning to a trivia now. Cmon
Watch expert? Good one
Marco is like Hank Hill. His infatuation with watches is similar to Hank’s passion for propane, and propane accessories.
He certainly resembles his offspring!
Having a young guy with vast amounts of knowledge is great for the team. Seeing just the vets with extensive knowledge could be a built in reason to learn at a slower pace.

love the trilogy Seamaster 300! A beast!
Tried to get one in Europe, sold out and costly aftermarket, but maybe i have to grab it. Rocking a Railmaster '17 with black dial.
Isn’t the Zenith Extreme a 1/100th of a second chrono? Love the content 👍🏻
Yep. The chrono uses a second 360000 vph balance wheel. Highlight of the Defy 21 ⏱
Exactly.
My fav time of the week!
The way Ana was looking at the poor guy on the table hahaha play nice Ana
The Miami Heat retired Jordan’s jersey, even though he never played for them. Yes he is the GOAT.
Thank you Gary...Say it again my man... MICHAEL JORDAN IS THE GOAT...✊
Jordan is the goat. He almost impressed me with the watches now he lost credibility lol but you can't compare Jordan to anyone because he was so ahead of his time
Yes you can, and that's why he's the GOAT.
sales, sales, sales and after, more sales, this is the resume of the philosophy of this man.
That was a fun episode! Excited to see what Marco adds to the team! Adrian and Alex were barely in this episode though. Why do I feel like they're moving to Miami together?
This little chub is so full of himself...
Jordan Would Absolutely Eat that Guy Alive - Just Stick to the Watch Game Pal - Wasnt even old enough to properly follow Jordan's career or watch it properly.
Good luck Marco, you have a wonderful teacher.
Anna pushing Hublot, I guess Nico is back in Ireland! Or I mean Anna is scarier than Nico I guess.
I would most definitely go for experience. Tried both, education didn't work very well. Was not able to use it for almost anything I do today, but it's certainly better than nothing, no doubt. Great episode 👍
Experience wins every time. Doctors go to school for 10 years but they’re almost useless until they have a couple years of experience.
@@Jackaroo. Yup, my mom is a doctor and she always told me that even after university, she was still only something similar to an intern at the hospital for many years, basically still learning and also with less money every month. Makes sense, I wouldn't want someone straight from university to try to fix my busted knee or something like that 😅
I hate the two week wait it takes for gray market. Always good
You're in luck - it's a one week wait just for you! (And also everybody else too.) So happy you're a fan!

Its like The Office, but with watches
Facts 😂
Marco seems to know watches for sure but Jordan is the GOAT. To say he never faced competition is crazy. In the 80s he faced the Celtics with Bird, McHale, Parish that team had 5 future HOF. The 97 Pacers, the bad boy Pistons, the Penny and Shaq Orlando days, the Pat Riley Knicks… Going in the paint back then was a wrestling match now it would an ejection.
He never beat bird though.
The Jordan and Eminem comments in this episode hurt my heart.
This zenith measures 1/100 of a second, the chronomaster original or sport will do the 1/10 of a second!
Chris and Marco are the coolest
This kid is a rain man walking watch encyclopedia. He’s scary to know that much detail and history.
Loved the house tour skit!!
Y’all pray for Marco ain’t nothing wrong with him his face is just shaped like a honey bun.
I can’t unsee it now lol
MARCO....top G🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think Alex needs a session or 50 with Natalie over that Eminem comment, he has been a very bad boy.
New to your channel like your style
Alex- for modern, go oyster. For vintage, go Jubilee. Vintage Oyster rivets are incredible but not commonly seen.

Marcos very charismatic and a likeable person. He talks about watches very eloquently with very interesting facts behind it. He’s a gem to say the least
Marco is awesome!! Love his posts and love chatting watches with him!! Used to watch his livestreams. It's like one of us made it to the big times lol and he's definitely worthy of that position. Extremely knowledgeable
Killer video. Thanks.
Marco is a necessary evil. Marco will learn to give the info in a more approachable way and I don’t think he’s a snob, he’s such passionate.
I haven’t watch this video yet but if you consider Marco Ferrante a watch expert I really have to reconsider what I thought of this channel…🙄 Anyone can spew facts but not everyone can work with other people. Let’s look back in a couple years and see how this little experiment went. Hopefully well for your company, but showing up loyal employees on UA-cam with the new guy is flat out a bad move. Hire people in the first place that know about watches or help them learn…
@@stockholmpublishings2937 Definitely a weird move…
@@stockholmpublishings2937 I guess this is more of a reflection of how you fear people with more knowledge. Some people recoil and hide, others step up, collobrate and improve.
