Often, in these type of shows/concerts, since various fandoms are present, ppl shine their light sticks only for their favorites. So you would not see, for example, a blackpink lightstick during BTS performance. If you remember, a "black ocean" is called, when the entire hall turns off their light, which is the greatest humiliation for any artist, meaning that nobody from the crowd supports or like them. But independent artists, who are not popular groups (even if they are much loved) don't have or can't afford to release light sticks. In these cases, they rely entirely on the good will of other fandoms to light the arena, and not be humiliated. And this is what happened here. Actually, during the whole show, ARMY had their bombs turned on, and didn't give the black ocean to any performer, even if at that time many fanwars were ongoing, and only a few months before we were attacked by many others. (a very common situation back in 2016-2018). Also, as you saw, most of the stadium was filled with ARMY, so it would have been very easy to give the black ocean to the other groups, but they didn't. So, beside being a very cool performance, how everyone sang together, it was uplifting to see how K-ARMY respected the other performers. After the show, BTS said that they were very proud of ARMY for doing so.
