There's something about the videos that calms me down.I sleep peacefully while watching.
im happy to hear that :)
I love how you're watching our edgequeen Natalie while making this beautiful piece of art.
Your videos are so inspiring and relaxing at the same time.
thank you!
absolutely adore these videos and your art! I only found it this morning but I'm already obsessed. the level of discipline and patience and talent you have is very inspiring. Also love the interspersed nature clips :) thank you for sharing your art with us all
ps who did your arm tattoo?? It rules
thank you so much, I'm glad you like my work and my videos!
the tattoo is by mishla instagram.com/mishlatattooillustration?igshid=e8k2neb6qkj7
Molto brava e originale
Wonderful craftsmanship. Why always chipped nailvarnish when your hands are in such focus ?
thank you! because i like how it looks ^_^
I love how the drawing lines look somewhat “irregular”. Maybe you achieve that because of the magnification? It really makes it shine. Great work as usual:)
thank you! i think it's a mix between the magnification and carving the lines without a ruler, it amplifies the unevenness 🌿
Another beautiful video. Thank you.
beautiful!!
thank you!
I'm very curious to see how you are going to print it! Really good work!
I'm glad you like it! there's going to be a whole episode about printing it!
Amazing job! Thank you for your secrets!!! I’m looking forward to buying it🥰🙏
I'm glad you like it!
Very lovely work 👌
thank you!
incroyable !
Question: why is doing this by hand preferable to just letting a machine do it (like a CNC machine)? I prefer by hand also, but I can't articulate it.
i like how it feels to carve, and the imperfections that come from the handmade process makes it so much more interesting to look at
i'm loving this series so far! considering buying the final result for myself as a christmas present haha. i was just wondering - i would love to start getting into linocutting, does your patreon further explain your process? in the previous video, you print out a bunch of pieces to make one large piece, then put paste over it so its easier to trace when cutting. i would love to know how that process works, and if there's an explanation over on patreon i'd be more than thrilled to subscribe!
hey sydney! i have another video here on my channel showing how i do the transfer! would love if you supported me on patreon as well, but the content there is more behind the scenes than here on youtube 😊
@@emilunderbjerg thank you so much for your response! i plan on subscribing this week! i will definitely check out your other video too. can't wait to see more from you! + (i love how your videos include natural sounds, it's so calming.)
no problem, i hope it's helpful to you 😊
What do you use to sharpen your carving tools?
i mostly use the slipstrop by flexcut tools ✌️
@@emilunderbjerg thanks! I have been absolutely mesmerized by your videos / visual and sound, plus the occasional landscape break. I also love that there is art in the carved relief that no one else sees in the final print. Thanks for sharing your craft.
thank you so much, I'm glad you like my work and the videos!
where did you find the idea for this linocut? What are your inspirations? :D
all the different elements of this linocut were drawn during inktober in 2019, so the prompts were the main inspiration.
a friend asked me if I could make a tabletop for him, so i decided to use those drawings as the basis for the design. we're now going to turn this sheet of lino into the tabletop by pouring resin on top, really looking forward to that!
@@emilunderbjerg oh thats really cool :o
