Leila Hormozi's 5 Step Goal Setting Process:
    1. 🕵‍♀ What problem are we solving?
    2. 💡 What's your best guess on how to solve it?
    3. 📝 What am I going to do? and who is going to do it?
    4. 💪 What do I want to have happen? How do I know that I am successful?
    5. 🙅‍♀ What could stop or slow me down? How long is it going to take us to do it?

A study on this topic found 2 goals is the fastest. A primary and a secondary. Push the main thing until hitting a spot where you are waiting, then the secondary. 3 makes sense too for those times the other 2 are held up for something. 4 is diluting because now 1-3 are waiting on the 4th. At the company level I see how 4 can work since different experts don’t overlap by design. Her profit vs growth is a great example. Sometimes spending can be a goal and when its going too slow its a leading indicator growth won’t happen

I would get money management just in case. You’re only 63. I think the average life execting in the US is 77.5 years, but many people live well into their 80s so that 800k has to last you all of that and the unforeseen. It is a great start though. Good for you!

Hi Leila I’m running a luxury bridal design studio. I started during Covid. I’ve had some success and sales but inconsistently. I’m working full-time at a day job too. I’m putting in my four hours per day-working through my current constraints.
My goal is to stabilize the business then grow.
    1st goal: $2K- mo
    2nd goal: $5K-mo
    3rd goal: $10k-mo
    4th goal: $10K cleared- mo
Somewhere between 3rd & 4th goal I’ll be able to leave the day job and go full throttle ❤
    Thanks Leila!

Hi Leila, great advice as always. Can you make a video on some steps to improve your product/service? For example if we are an advertising agency, what steps can we take to improve our service/results? That is something I am ready struggling with - I probably have average results but I’m trying to make them the best.
Does it involve hiring better people, or just learning it better? And if we need to learn more, how can we do that?
Thanks! Keep up the awesome work.

As a small business owner, I have 2 clear business goals, and if I can have a max of 3 goals, since I am the champion of these goals, does my personal fitness goal count or not count as a slot? Intuitively I'd say yes, it does count, so basically I can only have 2 business goals and 1 personal goal, since I am going to have to do all 3.

I'm struggling to get sales as a seasonal tourist bike rental business. The area is saturated with bike companies. I'm running Google ads and don't have an unlimited budget so not sure if im getting bid out by much larger companies. I have over 150 5 star reviews and my fleet is in good shape. So how do I funnel more people in?

    • @dfsilversurfer
      @dfsilversurfer 4 місяці тому

Being seasonal I would embark on a marketing campaign amplified 3mth prior to tourists season . Marketing is an essential part of any business. It allows for a business's products or services to be known to consumers and it helps entice consumers to buy or use its service over a competitor's..
At its core, marketing seeks to take a service, identify its ideal customers, and draw the customers' attention to service available. Ask at 1st point of contact Where did they hear about you.?? helps ROI . Marketing might involve advertising but it is communication as well .
It involves all the actions to draw in customers and maintain relationships with them and especially with those referring them to your sevice and not to the opposition . What would it take to get people referring ? Networking with potential or past clients is part of the work too and may include writing thank you emails, playing golf with prospective clients, returning calls and emails quickly, and meeting with clients for coffee or a meal. As your customer base is tourists i would extend that to networking to Meet as many contacts within other tourist serving businesses not just digitally but personally , like bars, tour operators restaurants, hotels etc and their staff ask or get them promoting your service . a reward maybe . Alot of people will ask hotel staff where can i get this or do that before google . In this digital age word of mouth is still relevant .
So anyway Thats my 2 cents worth . all the best

Why does how she does her hair or what she wears, or how she looks in any way matter to the conversation!
This is insane, here is a person who is giving you out of knowledge and wisdom, golden nuggets of value, and all you have to say is “do your hair differently, because I don’t like it” this is why less women go into business, because of dumb inarticulate and invaluable comments that are completely irrelevant.
Try to engage with the substance of her conversation. She is not your friend, and not your family, and she never gave you permission to comment on her looks, and she never asked, and should never care about your opinion.
      Damn, this is so infuriating.
