Just discovered Casiopea a few days ago. Have been listening to them non-stop and I not only love their music, I love their sound, stage presence and overall vibe :-)

Domino Line and Space Road should be two songs that get loaded onto the next Voyager spacecraft to greet potential alien races. You know what...just send this entire concert video! These guys are one of the tightest bands in existence...up there with the likes of Steely Dan and Rush.
Absolutely agree with you. At least Galactic Funk as our Intergalactic Greetings! Loved Ann Druyan (i think she designed the Voyager disc) and Carl Sagan and love Casiopea! Galactic Funk is my favorite, their cute dance that makes Minoru sang smile always gets me too!
Yes I Was there in a concert in Roppongi Minato a long time ago & It was really Wonderfull stay there listen this great jazz funk music 🤔🤔 since there I’m a fan of Casiopea shure !!!!
I recall, when I first heard the Domino Line from the Mint Jams album, as a fragile teenager. The bass solo changed something for good in me. It still took a few years to get enough money for the Yamaha BB-3000 - and I'm still learning some of the licks. It's a timeless masterpiece!
Seems like a very humble venue compared to what they would go on to perform live at later in their careers. Still a great performance from Casiopea as always!

長い映画を観ているようでした。最後の年表テロップが流れるのを見てジ～ンと来ました。カシオペアは私の家族の歴史とオーバーラップした時代でした。
佐々木さんのドラミング、神保さんにはないワイルドさが感じられて、これはこれでありだなと思います。この頃メンバー全員20代前半、すでに凄いバンドですね。
神保さんの音は、テテン、トントン。デンデン太鼓みたいに聴こえます。
質、量ともに素晴らしい

3rdになってメンバーも歳を重ね、人も変わりましたが、カシオペアサウンドは続けてほしいと心から願っています。
ＹＡＭＡＨＡ ＣＳ７０Ｍですね。「ＭＩＮＴ ＪＡＭＳ」から「フォトグラフス」辺りまではＧＳ１とともに主力シンセとして活躍してましたね。

こういうリズムの方が、クロスオーバーとかライトロックと言う感じでいいと思う。ラフさの中にノリがある。ある時期以降の、シャキシャキしたノリはそれ一辺倒になっているきらいがある。

フュージョンを世に知らしめた最高のバンドですね、何度もライブ見ましたが、40年前にピットインのライブが最高でした。カウンターの隣に桜井サンがライブ前にジントニックを飲んでるのが素敵でした。40年前の出来事が鮮明に思い出します！
リアルタイムで聞きまくっていました。カシオペアは個人的には、この４人の時が一番好きでしたね！ 桜井さんのベースラインと神保さんのドラミングは最強のリズム隊。そこに野呂さんのギターと向谷さんのキーボードが乗ってる感じでした。楽曲は、デビュー後から５年くらいまでのアルバムが最も好きでしたよ。現在のカシオペア３thまで全て持っていますが。
