Left one out that I learned today. If your rear view camera lense is dirty put the car in reverse and hit the wiper fluid button and it sprays the camera clean. 😉😉
Good job man. Just bought one and you helped a bunch. One final feature I had to find was the rear hatch height limiting process. Open the rear hatch and when it gets to the height you want push the rear hatch button on the inside of the hatch to stop it then push and hold the same hatch button for about 5 secs until you hear a beep then you have it adjusted. I needed it lower for my garage. Thanks again!
if the backdoor sensor on the middle, when the backdoor opening you have to backoff to avoid the back door rising,so the landrover make people more elegant to open the backdoor, they set these sensors on the side of the car.
7:47 mark: I strongly believe they put the "kick" back door open on the side so that the door does not fly up and hit you in the face standing directly behind the car as that door is big on my Range Rover.
There’s many more, RR sports is just amazing car, I am waiting for the new model and it will be my third one, I just wish My first RR was thirty years earlier ps try Sand surfing in it and you won’t regret it
on the range rover remote app setting> Security > vehicle lock reminders and Guardian mode is pretty helpful for those forgetful like me and parking on the street all the time
Great tips. Best one however, press start button once not pressing the brake (so on but no ignition), then buckle and unbuckle your seatbelt 9 times and you will hear a beep. Seatbelt warning has now been disabled.
Hi Buddy , there is a Redlight Camera alert at the navigation screen right to the right hand side of the monitor takeoff the compass and add the traffic you’ll have that alert and how many feet the camera will be.
I would like to suggest one more feature which is personally my favorite. If you wave your hang above the center council roof the sunshade opens. Waving it from front to back opens it and from back to front closes it!!!! As it is opening if u wave it in the opposite direction it will stop.
The sensor is off to the side because of safety reasons. Some people have been hit in the head by the back door after kick and not paying attention to the door. If you are off to the side no risk of injury
Hi, is there a function on the 2021 RRS to allow automatic door locking while walking away like the BMW? Just in case one forgets to touch the door look button.
@@Jonathanoncars Thank you. Yes, my BMW X6 has that feature but my Range Rover Sport doesn’t have that capability and that sucks because both are expensive and luxurious vehicles and the Range should at least have that simple functionality 🤔🤨🙄
The kick feature for the rear gate being on the side of the vehicle is because if you’re standing directly behind the vehicle, when the lift gate opens, it will smack you lol. Or you have to be inconvenienced by backing up to allow the gate to open. From the side, you don’t even have to move until it’s fully open to place your items in the rear. It’s just more convenient.
My tailgate kick-to-open sensor is located near my trailer hitch receiver. I can't tell you how many times I've been loading the back and have inadvertently closed my tailgate on head because my foot is underneath that part of the vehicle. That's probably why the kick-to-open sensor is on the side. I can't imagine ever standing to the side of the vehicle while loading the back.
I just got a 2018 Range Rover Sports with 40K miles, which is out of factory warranty, what is your opinion on buying extended warranty and from where?
@@amgr6716 my Range rover sport was over 30,000 miles when we returned the lease with no mechanical problems. Right now I have a 2021 with 30,000 miles and still no mechanical issues. If you’re going to get an extended warranty, make sure it includes electrical as that tends to be the first thing to go on Range Rovers. Shop around, and don’t think you have to take the one from the dealership.
Turn the volume knob when the alert goes off, you need to be pretty quick. If you know where the camera is it helps to be prepared, I use the volume knob on the centre dash for a quicker action.
Kick to open is a safety feature to ensure you don't get knocked out while using this feature. Or if you are carrying to load the vehicle and accidentally might knock it off from your hand
Another trick is ,put your hazard on then press headlights + lock button from the key and the car will go low or rise above normal height for towing . Another one is long press unlock key from the keypad and all the windows and sunroof will open. Another one is swipe your hand ✋️ on the front of the sunroof towards to the back without touching and it will open all the way to the end
Hi, happened across your video which is VERY helpful, Following you now. I have a question about my navigation system, sometimes I find a store while not using my navigation system, how would I save that location? Somebody told me to press the flag icon..true? If so where is that? Can’t wait to change my screen saver next time I get in my car👍🏽
For this generation, it’s an option. If your vehicle is equipped with it, simply press the home button on the top screen, scroll to the last page and you’ll find the button there. Thanks for watching!
Left one out that I learned today. If your rear view camera lense is dirty put the car in reverse and hit the wiper fluid button and it sprays the camera clean. 😉😉
Does this actually work
Wave your hand vertically across the area of the panoramic roof controls. Forward hand motion will close & backward motion will open the roof blinds.

That’s what I thought 😊
It is on the side so if you add a hitch it won't be blocked and if you are towing you can't get to it in the center.

They changed it to the side cuz the Brits were getting hit in the face and giving them crooked teeth
Great Video, the opening of the boot, (liftgate) is on the side for the reasoning the gate will not hit you when opening or closing.
Thanks for the video. Just purchased a RRS and I’m learning something new daily. Lol
Great video. I just got a new RR Sport last week. This video had some helpful information! Never knew about the screen saver!

Cool video. I did not know about holding the left side of the left scroll button to get back to the main screen and the gas cap holder.
Hey man, I really liked your video, we just bought our 4th Land Rover Range Rover and we didn’t know any of those things. Keep it going.

Great review of hidden features on the beautiful RRS.

Thanks a lot; got to know something new! Not just for the red light camera. It is for all cameras. Very helpful in Europe!🤣

I think the rear sensor is on the side to protect the person from being hit if the rear hood opens real quick

Yes I found that feature purely by accident🤣
Thanks for the info. I just purchased a 2022 sport in Dec.
Sooooo Glad I watched this 🥰🥰 thanks bro!

Great question. Unfortunately not. I drove the X5 in a earlier review and that’s a feature I definitely miss.

Jonathan, about number 10 (red light camera notification) how can I turn the pepping sound off?
Go to dealership and tell them
why when you pressed and held the max ac did it turn on the recirculation instead?

@jonathanmiami can you share how you clean and maintain your upholstery?
My Range Rover has a hidden refrigerator under the center counsel that holds a 6 pack and a hidden cd player in the top glove box.
Can you explain what the warning lights mean and how to self correct the ones without going to the dealer pls

The tailgate sensor are on the side for curb parking
And because they don’t want people to stand behind the car and not see the car about to run into you
Where is the red light camera notification settings? I have 2020 Range Rover and didn’t even know that exist.
towning it will be hard to open if it's in the middle so they put the sensor in the side. either left of right
Hi, how did you turn on the cruise control and
-how you put the GPS in the screen by the steering wheel
Once set a destination on the center infotainment screen, the map will automatically go to your gauge cluster and your heads up display if equipped.
How do you turn off or turn down the red light camera notification? Mine is SUPER LOUD!!

@@caliadventures6475 I believe it’s in the vehicle safety settings found in the gauge cluster. Not the center infotainment

Does anyone know how to add brake fluid to your Range Rover sport 2020?
Is there a way to change the phone booth when i have phone on screen?

Tailgate censors off to the side so you don't get hit by tailgate when opening tailgate
The kick to open is located there so the boot dosent hit you in the face
The reason for side kick so the tail gate won’t hit your face when it’s opening.😂

Tailgate sensor on the side so you don’t get hit in the face
It’s so the boot/trunk/tailgate, does not hit you in the face ….
So the rear hatch doesn’t hit you in your chin your standing too close when opening!!!!
