Omg, Ines De LA Fressange (ee-nez de la fray-sahnje) is a fashion icon! She's most famous for being the top model for the House of Chanel throughout the 80s and Karl Lagerfeld's muse. She actually looks a lot like Coco Chanel herself! After her & Lagerfeld had a big disagreement in 89, they parted ways, and she created her own brand and became pretty successful with it in France, Japan & the U.S. She sold stuff like perfume. Later on, she started designing clothes, and at some point in the 2010s, she began this design partnership with Uniqlo.
Maybe I'm just way behind on figuring this out but I ordered a pair of nwt shoes on Poshmark and they shipped UPS not USPS. When I asked Poshmark about it they said they had some kind of a corporate contracts with malls and warehouses. My shoes were coming from a shopping mall via UPS ground. They said those select vendors aren't required to provide priority shipping like we are. It just seems like everyday resellers built their company and now they're handing perks to corporations. Maybe I'm just a crab but it didn't sit right with me.
I know you said you didn't want to do Whatnot but with the time you put in to taking the items to the consignment store and your following you probably get more doing a show. You probably would sell it faster.

Most of my stores will give an itemized receipt as long as you ask for it BEFORE you accept the offer and they close it out. I like to see what they took and what they paid for each...maybe worth a short?
Honestly, I would take a full tub. Then I would add extras in the car. So, if they only take a small amount, I can just add more to the original tub for the next place.
I think it depends on the person for sure. I saw Garage skinny pants (super fast fashion) in my consignment store but they wouldn’t take my Yumi Kim top? Super frustrating.

That Sundance really surprises me. I would be excited to find that at the bins. I've been taking a hiatus and when I come back I'm not even going to know what is good! I love these videos, it's always fun to see what they take and for how much.

I was just wondering…at what point do you absolutely give up and donate. Although most of these items came from the bins you already have a fair amount of time invested in them. Should you move on and shift time to your more sure thing items. Asking because I know I and other resellers grapple with the same decision. Thanks. Great video.

Yes, do want to still see the consignment videos. I think the person doing the intake has a lot to do with it, you either get lucky or not. This time, maybe not so much? You video inspired me to take a bin of my children's clothes to a newer consignment store recently. I was happy with the $ I got - about $24 for half a bin. I want to do more, except that they will not return items they don't take - they will donate them automatically. Boo. Especially since the first time they do return items to you, so 2 items they did not buy I was also surprised at, one was a hello kitty robe I know I can list for some $...so I'm glad it did not get donated. However, its a start, I hope to move onto adult clothing soon.

This video was basically a graveyard of things that used to do well on posh and don’t anymore. “I just want to give up on this piece” is so real! I went to clothes mentor the other day and brought a bin and they took nothing… I had Eileen and Lulu in there too but I’ll bring it back later and they will take it lol. Fun video!
I think it totally depends on the person you get, I’ve had a new Plato’s person pass on new Nikes, nwt free people that’s still on the website, he took like 2 things out of 20 literally brought it to the next town over to another one and they bought everything.
