It seems like he is not preparing a throw but that he is trying to push the probability for a weak moment of his opponent, and then attack really quickly. He must have what might be called a high player‘s IQ.
Not a fan of this player. All aggression and power, little Judo ("the soft way"). Ofcourse power and aggression is necessary at the highest level but many players show better technique and more elegance, which I prefer to watch.
Olympic champion at london 2012, Bronze medalist at Rio 2016 and Silver medalist at Tokyo 2022. And after all of this incredible achievements you my friend saying you don’t like him. It doesn’t even make sense because either you like him or not he is the greatest of all time.✊🇰🇬🇬🇪

Even many Georgians (e.g. Tushishvili) show many more judo style ippons instead of wrestling down opponents like this guy.
