I've started folding the uncooked rice in before adding the liquid to coat and kinda saute it a bit, idk but it kinda does something for it. Dunno if you showed bay leaf but I put a couple big ones in, the smoky ones you get from middle eastern stores.

Hi Kyle, those were knives from Coolina. They are solid but they aren’t not stainless. This fed about 12 people with plenty of leftovers
