Also a nightwish and kamalot fan. This is a little bit like a mix of both.
This definitely has the symphonic metal appeal to it, I found this because of a meme. Good stuff, it is a shame this genre isn't more popular, this is good stuff.

Perfect song, beautiful lyrics. And a beautiful woman. The last one is mostly because she performs so well. She looks en sings with her hands, her eyes. That says very much about a person.

Definitely a modern kamelot sound to it, especially the chorus. Which is not a bad thing.
Symphonic metal will do that, but it is a tad reminiscent of "Angel of Sacrimony", isn't it.

I am in therapy. My therapist has a linear view. (as in rate my emotions on a number line) We were having issues communicating since I am not able to view things that way. I shared this song to her. I feel this a nice example of how emotions can go from zen to I am ready to burn the world. It helped her understand how I view things better.
