The one handed garou fight was fodder compared to goku vs jiren because at best garou is delivering around 1-10 galaxies worth of power to saitama's face but jiren was delivering 1-5 universes worth of power in goku's face.

I have covered both manga and anime of Dragon ball and OPM but in my opinion Saitama can win 7 or 8 out of 10 battles... I am definitely not saying Goku is weak bruhh Goku is my fav character but even we have seen many times Goku reaching his limits either he runs out of Ki or stamina but in case of Saitama he is definitely stronger than Goku in terms of strength and if Goku tries ki blast or kamehame-ha Saitama can deflect it with his punch although it might get a bit close if MUI Goku joins the battle since he can dodge every attack without even thinking but we shouldn't ignore the fact that Saitama has also extraordinary Speed and adaptation ability (based on fight with Cosmic Garou) so i believe if Saitama survives 4 or 5 hits of Goku then he can even defeat MUI Goku

I think saitama will win 100%. I'm a fan of both anime
here are my thoughts:
1. Goku died multiple times in the series and got exhausted everytime but we havent seen saitama get exhausted even when he was fighting Cosmic garou
2. Goku has more forms and he is getting new updates because there is room for that.. Saitama is the pinnacle of strength and there will not be any other form
3. In terms of growth during the fight, there is no comparision. Goku is strong but Saitama adapts way way faster and there is no limit
4. Saitama did time travel only with his speed where as goku is incapable of time travel. He has to use the ring
Overall, even after watching Saitama blowing up surphase of planet with his sneeze, we yet are no where near to his max level capabilities.
Saitama is written that way, he will defeat ANY opponent (except thay mosquito😅)
1 - Goku getting tired is kinda understandable and i agree Saitama has more stamina, Goku only died to way stronger opponents or opponents near his power level
2) Saitama is the pinnacle of power in his universe but outside of his verse he pretty much gets folded because his feats are around Galaxy level and Goku has shown way more impressive feats like Destroying a realm that is 5D - outerversal
3) it's not even close Goku gets potential Goku has shown more potential feats then Saitama for an example Goku Grew around millions to potentially trillions of times stronger in tournament of power in a few minutes (Goku got destroyed by Rage Kale in his ssb and later fought a stronger kale + caulifa at the same time in his base let's do the calculations here Goku stated Beerus was stronger than a SSJ 3 Vegito we know fusion is a 100 times the user's strongest forms let's assume Gokus Power level is 1 and vegetas power level is 1 as well they go Super Saiyan 2 & 3 = 100 + 400 = 500 × 100 = 5000 now add super Saiyan 3 5000 × 100 = 500k so a SSG is 500k and SSB Blue is 500k × 50 = 25m so Base Goku grew 25M times stronger in a single fight
4) Saitama most likely forgot how to do that after he fused with his past self and even if he was capable of doing it that doesn't matter because we have seen Goku being stronger than time itself and being capable of keeping up with arale who can catch up to time machine's through sheer speed

Goku has shown growth in tournament of power but he died again and then got ultra instinct which was also struggeling to keep up with Jiren.. Goku's growth is nothing if we compare it with Cosmic Garou vs Saitama..
Its not like Saitama doesn't have feats.. its just that one punch man is a comparatively new manga and story has not progressed that much..
