I keep switching between Coke Studio Pakistan and Coke Studio India. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful people and beautiful, beautiful, beautiful music! LOVE from India!
An incredible singer with an obvious ability to be show phenomenal range, depth and constraint. Of all the seasons, this is probably the best I've heard from her. Probably not too technically challenging yet wonderful emotions. You can tell at the end she appears to be content. Keep it up Coke Studio/Rohail. You make my life better.
Only Rohail Hyatt could arrange such a beautiful song. And honestly, probably THE most mature performance of a raag presentation I have evr heard, Mashallah kya baath hai
The lyrics is so deep in this song and its not easy to sing Sofi song unless you mean and feel the real emotion of every single ward. Hats off to Marvi she has done a full justice and sang the hell out of the song. Well done
What a wonderful performance, full of passion, and a great musical accompaniment. Good for the soul. Only wish someone would translate her words into English.
Soothing Song.. Put the headphone on High Volume, close the eyes and Listen to this song.. Definitely gonna feel like out of the world.. :) :) :) #HATSOFF #AWESOME
Its raining since morning, every thing is so green here and i am sitting in my balcony with my cup of tea and listening this , what best you could ask for ? Love from Australia
U know I just stumbles across this and I have listen to two or three all of them playing on this are amazing. Sanam Marvi absolutely fantastic. I can't stop listening, though I am glad there are English subtitles for the lyrics, I don't know the language but one need not know your language to understand what you and the musicians have done in these recordings comes straight from your hearts. Very beautiful.
How is it that SO MUCH fantastic stuff has come to us through Coke Studio Pakistan? I've lost track of how many times I've been moved to tears by something/someone I've heard through it. Brilliant. Again.
jug-jug jio Sanam Marvi..! Whatever she sings, it comes straight from her soul...takes me to heaven. hamesha Loo-kanday khade ho jaanday ne...:D May peace, love and harmony always prevail. boht sara love from INDIA. regards Pushkar.
Sanam Marvi have become such a classical singer at such a young age. Her voice is so enjoyable. Well done girl. Very best for the future. Your true admirer from UK.
+Ranjani Krishnan She doesnt have to be Adele. Adele is awesome in her own space. Stop comparing artists to each other. Pakistani artists arent better or worse. They are just artists making their own space.
+Ranjani Krishnan .. I'm Indian .. But I Love Sanam Marvi From All My Heart.. And For Me Marvi is Far Higher Then Adele... Adele Sings about only Ordinary Human Feelings..Marvi Sings for World of Mystic.. Reaches far higher peaks from materialistic world to Mystical world...
What a tune! Sanam Marvi has to be the most consistent artist in the coke studio arsenal. Every season she has this ONE gem that makes you say: THIS IS WHAT COKE STUDIO IS ABOUT!
Sanam Marvi is good as always. Coke Studio Pakistan has brought together the musical instruments and talented players from all over the world with some singers I had not heard of before. But the setup and this orchestra boosts their talent to the highest level. This is revolutionary and ingenious in the musical industry and will be instrumental bringing the world together to enjoy musical creations like these regardless of knowing the language of the song. Great creativity!
HUQ MOJOOD!!! Sufiism is a divine call of love to those souls which keep connecting with Divine Love (Ishq). Sanam Marvi basically belongs to Land of SUFIISM and Love SINDH. Her early Singing career was much difficult as she didnt get familier , I have met with her on URS of SHAH Abdul latif bhitai , when she waited for his Number to come on stage and perform. NO doubt she had sone lot of hard work specially on Sufi Kalaam. NOW she is familier around the word. Thanks for sharing and making such spirtual touch of much with beautiful poetry and voice... Sufi Syed Ali Sikander from SINDH "Pakistan"...
Wow... another Abida in the making!!!! Same texture, similar strength, same range, same style... I would love to listen to more songs from her.. I wish we have another Nusrat somewhere in the making too... Not possible though.

This song is playing in loop since 2 days and I'm still not done with it..........looks like it is to stay for long with me. Beautifully sung by Sanam Marvi.
The expression of Sanam Marvi At 7:37 is just awesome , happiness on her face after completing the song with full of soul is just outstanding, thumbs up guys who so ever like that expression.
+Parnika Som Are u from Pakistan... if not then u have nothing to do with this... u can prove me wrong by providing me link of Indian version of this song otherwise refrain from making this Indian culture..
Sanam Marvi ... amazes me all the time I see her do something at coke studios. What an amazing singer. This one has strings that take it to another level with that country and blues style all rolled into one. Way cool and it works so well. Never heard anything like this meld of east and west. Love it.
are they real singer?it seems all singer and team are invited from heaven. It feel all are angel.wish pakistan from Bangladesh. One day I will come Lahore my cultural dream city!!!!!
Yes, in 2019 too someone liked it and admired it. Some courage it requires to write this kind of song. And her voice so does justice to the spirit of the song.
her voice is infused with our sufi's experience of divine and sacred. This songs seems to capture the true spirit of every religion that is to dissolve the boundaries and melt and become one in love.
Superb performance.... I didnt like this typ of songs previously... but Coke studio compelled me to listen these songs soulfully with something new... I appreciate Rohail Hayat's efforts... You are brilliant sir...
No, i just love Pakistan and eastern music without any understanding, sometimes I google the name of the songs and sometimes I am lucky to find translations from lyrics in the net. I have some Cd´s from Nusrat F. ali Khan and loke Qawali a lot. I am not Christian nor Muslim but everytime I hear the word Allah, or Krishna, etc I automatically feel that it´s devoted to the one being, creator of this wonderful universe. These songs are so inspiring and transmit a devotion so grand towards our Creator that it´s almost impossible not no get moved.IMH of course. It´s fantatic that there are so many different languages in India. Punjabi looks like Urdu or hindi?
The soothing sensation of this song and its mesmerizing lyrics open bundles of joy and self attainment. Once again Sanam's voice and Rohail's creativity win hearts of many!
What a Kalaam.......What Amazing words....What Relevance....I don't have words to pay homage to your talent.......you truly are transcendental.....Hoping to hear you live soon.....we have another Abida Perveen amidst us ....Respect
Beautiful poetry by Sultan Bahu and Shah Hussain. Listening to this beautiful rendition makes me sad as to how the tremendously rich heritage of Punjabi, which is a language older than English and the other languages we have so readily adopted, is so callously forgotten and disinherited.
Kalaam of Hazrat Sultan Bahu I think. And the great, hazrat Sachal Sarmast also mentioned. These wali-Allahs have penned such great, deep poems. If ppl read with an open heart, they'd change forever.
Replayed this many, many, many times. I could not work out why I loved it so much, it's superb. And then it dawned on me. The music and sound arrangements are very reminiscent of the older works of Van Morrison. Nevertheless, it works extremely well and it's been a pleasure to listen to this, and will continue to remain so.
Lyrics are also very good. You can turn on subtitles by clicking cc Lyrics are poetry of Bulleh Shah & Sachal Sarmast; explaining how their teachers taught them to meet Love of God & how ecstatic it was
OSUM OSUM OSUM....tooo good song....one of the many songs....i find peace and get away from my daily tensions.....thank u so much coke studio ! and all artists ! ... Love her reaction in the end :). Yes Sanam, you did more than great mash'Allah! Anyway, this makes me extra proud of all Pak languages and our diversity. Whether Baloch, Pathan, Sindhi, Punjabi, Kashmiri or from any faith/ethnicity...we're an important and beautiful part of this country. And we welcome our fellow human beings from other countries, to enjoy our culture. Wow Sanam, you make us soooo proud! Allah swt kaamyaabi de aur seedhe raaste pe rakhe, aameen.
Really Sanam Marvi has out done herself, I can see the flavor of Abida Praveen Ji's Class. Sanam Marvi is going in a correct direction and @ Coke Studio Pakistan she is a regular presence and Jaffer put it the correct way that she has an over flowing library of Music. So Humbling, Soothing, Mesmerizing, innocent and clinging rendition.

This woman is Pakistan's Adele or should I say that Adele is England's Sanam? ;)
Either way is justified.
Ranjani Krishnan Superb analogy. This video particularly has such a "Abida Parveen" vibe.
+Ranjani Krishnan She doesnt have to be Adele. Adele is awesome in her own space. Stop comparing artists to each other. Pakistani artists arent better or worse. They are just artists making their own space.
