You did a bad job with this controversial title - That GOD DID NOT HARDEN PHARAOHS HEART, - so who did?
You didn't see that all the verses read says that God hardened pharaoh's heart as He has Said.

Dr Abel Damina is inspired by God to unravel the bible in its true meaning and the crooks and thugs who invaded and continue to manipulate the truth in the Bible are running scared.
Abel, you are the only man standing and God is with you. You must press on for the light to expose what is hidden in darkness.

Okay, let me offer an explanation. Pharoah hardened his heart, which many people do when the Lord ministers or knock on the doors of their hearts.
When they don’t respond accordingly to the call of the Lord, the Lord God gives them up, (or let’s them have their own way). Romans 1:28… “And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.” In other words, if you insist upon doing things your way, eventually, God will allow you to have your way, even if it means your demise.
So the title of this video is inaccurate because God did harden Pharaoh’s already hardened heart. He made it so that Pharaoh could not soften his heart. Basically God used pharaoh to serve his will. He was created and raised up for that purpose.
The thing to remember is that God is a just and merciful God. Pharaoh was not innocent. He was a ruthless dictator. And God used his evil to bring forth good in the lives of the Israelites.

There’s nothing to subscribe to because this is just a true definition of confusion, the message of a man of God is meant to edify and not leave you confused. As a Bible student, I patiently listened till the end hoping to get some revelation and learn something new as no one knows it all, but unfortunately it was a waste of my data and precious time. I wish Dr Abel all the best in his ministry, but his teachings are definitely not for someone like me, I am sorry.

Mind you it’s this same bible that tells us in the New Testament today if you hear Gods voice harden not your hearts . Are you telling me God changed his character all of a sudden ???
You need to be intelligent spiritually to grasp spirits . I understand where Dr Abel is coming from . Mind you , in this same Old Testament there are things which people could not grasp and attributed it to be God responsible for,

    Romans 9:17-21
    New International Version
17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[a] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[b] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

The man of God did not explain ..." I will hardened Pharoah's heart so that he will not let the people go..."- Ex 14:21... He only empasized "Pharoah hardened his earth..." I believe that there was a compelling force that moved pharoah to act or respond even before the demonstration of power by Moses (sticking to the pre-text which forms part of the entire context) ... Man of God can go further to explain "Pharoah's heart was hardened (suggesstive of a complelling force"); Pharoah hardened his heart (suggesstive of self will) and the heart of Pharoah was hardened (suggesstive of response to an effect)

God has a good plan for pharaoh in Roman 9:17 but pharaoh decided to make a choice by not accepting the word of God so his refusal of God's word to him, harden his heart.
Its just like when Stephen preached the Gospel of Christ, those people that heard it harden their heart so the reaction of their hardened heart cause how they stoned Stephen to death however someone didn't harden their heart and they were saved.
So not that God help to harden somebody 's heart,God don't have part in causing evil to happen to somebody for his Glory, its man's choice that will make the devil operate to destructions or Holy Ghost operate to salvation.God never lie and God never instigate any man to lie

Approach the scriptures spiritually, and let the Holy Spirit interprete the scriptures to you.. The Lord hardened his heart to show forth his signs...who is Pharaoh before God. No matter how hard a man is, his heart can't be that hardened that will cause his own destruction...

For me I would say it was Pharoah who harden his own heart because, first Pharoah was a very wicked king who enslaved the isrealite, after his prodescessor the good Pharoah who asked Joseph to bring his people to Egypt because of how his advised profited the king and the people of Egypt in the time of farming. Now before this new king emerged the people of Israel have already dominated positions and are very talented as they used their talents and skills to build Egypt, jealousy, envy brought evil in the heart of Egyptians and Pharoah especially but he can not just let them go because of the entrepreneurship, the potential, the talent and the relevance he saw in them, if he do Egypt will lose so much big time secondly the joy he derived from seeing them being Egypt slaves and as such he heart harden.

The video we just watched clearly not emphasize that Dr had not made any statement that GOD DID NOT HARDEN THE HART OF PHARAOH but he is explaining to us why His heart was harden. That is why DR uses the word in response to (descriptive). Meaning Dr was describing why Pharaoh’s heart was hardened.
Now WHO harden pharaoh’s heart is clearly different from WHY pharaoh’s heart was hardened.
Hence I disagree with the title or the caption or the heading or the theme of the message or this video.

Even if it were to be twisted that way in order to try and defend dr. Damina, it still remains false...
      Exodus 7:3-4
3] AND I WILL HARDEN PHARAOH'S HEART, and MULTIPLY my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
4] BUT PHARAOH SHALL NOT HEARKEN UNTO YOU, that I MAY LAY MY HAND upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt BY GREAT JUDGMENTS.
So clearly Pharaoh's not listening to Moses, was because God had hardened his heart...even when God multiplied His signs!
And not "his heart hardening because of not listening...", as the Dr. Damina is trying to falsely twist the truth!

Take the video at 13:10 minutes onwards, his explanation will fall in place with the given title of the video... it's wrong.
Here he tries to imply that Pharaoh's heart hardened out of response to what Moses had to say.
However, the proper understanding of this is supposed to be that God did not allow Pharaoh to be pretentious towards the situation, but chose the right tests that would expose the Pharaoh's true colours.
In other words "God hardening Pharaoh's heart", simply means Him exposing his true nature.
Take a look at Genesis 43:32, even during the time Joseph was still governing Egypt, it was only because they had realised God was with him, otherwise the Pharaoh's appointment wasn't out of love, but as a means of exploitation.

Let’s not get this scripture tangled. What the scripture meant “ God hardened pharaoh’s heart “ is that God would make pharaoh’s mind unchangeable to what he told his people in exodus chapter 1 verse 8 to 10. So whatever advice anyone give to him of letting the Israelite go would be a waste of advice. Even pharaoh’s official adviced him in chapter 10 verse 7 but still didn’t listen to them. Harden pharaoh’s heart is God making pharaoh not to change from his bad decision to good decision. Hope you understand my explanations. May the Holy Spirit give whoever will read this message good understanding of the scripture in Jesus name.

Always confusing us with Hebrew and Greek jargons. The KJV is closest to the interpretations. You are the same person who says we should use scripture to explain scripture. But then you go back on your own word and put in your own interpretations. This is bad! You only give room for people to continue to doubt the Bible the more.

@@abushyne1999 Answering the question is easy, and I will do that. However someone should ask Abel Damina why Satan that could not respond to Prophet of Baal with Fire on Mount Carmel when his adherent needed him to do so suddenly became the one to respond to the prayers of Elijah with fire, does that make any sense, and at best it is high sounding nonsense.
In answering your question, God enables a man to do what he wants to do so both are correct and not contradictions. The scriptures says "when they refuse to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them up to reprobate mind..." Rom 1:28-32. Pharaoh hardened himself and God enable it by hardening his heart because that is what he wanted.
Abel Damina is trying to paint a picture of God that is not the one revealed in the bible to promote licentious and riotous living which is an abuse of grace so he must manipulate every scripture to support it, he is obviously not working for God's kingdom.

The hardening of Pharaoh's heart is the one that resultantly led to him not wanting to listen to Moses, and not the other way round as Damina claims.

Yes! Pharaoh got angry, but it was God who incited his anger. What did God do? He sent Pharaoh a command. This is the first time where Pharaoh had to acknowledge and submit to another superior to himself, and no other than the God of his slaves. Therefore, he was unlikely to take it easy. And God knew that. And when his magicians were able to counter God's power, it further fueled his defiance against God’s command, in alignment with God’s intention to showcase his power in Egypt.

For fools in this comment section who did not get what Damina said, he is trying to tell you that God did not harden pharoh's heart rather, pharoh was irritated and resistive of God's word on his own accord. God does not mess with our freewill. It was God through his word which is "thus says the lord, let my people go", that made pharoh to harden his heart. Do you get it? Oh Jesus!!!! This is pure academics. This is pure dimystifying. Oh God!!! Dr. Abel!!!!!! Say no more!!!!!!! God is good. Knowledge is not for everybody as why many are called but few are chosen. Fools are called but the wise are chosen. Let me say it again perhaps in a way you fools would understand. God didn't mess with pharoh's freewill as to hardening his heart, no!!! Pharoh on his own Freewill, hardened his heart because of God's word. God did not harden pharoh's heart, pharoh hardened his heart because of God's word through moses. Get it? God's word is God. @@abushyne1999 Thanks for asking this question. Both are correct. The reason why God hardened Pharaoh's heart is because, Pharaoh was the first to harden his own heart. At the very start God told Moses:
"And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand." (Exo 3:19 KJV)
Therefore, God decided to help him to hasten his self-destruction by further hardening Pharaoh's heart:
"... see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go" (Exo 4:21 KJV)
"And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt." (Exo 7:3 KJV).
Now, if you follow the order of events starting from chapter 7, you will notice that the hardening of Pharaoh's heart started with him in his heart.
" And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go." (Exo 7:14 KJV).
The verb translated here as "is hardened" (Heb. "khazaq") is stative, expressing the state of Pharaoh's heart without indicating the doer. Unfortunately, the KJV added "he" to this verb in verse 13, making it appears as if the doer is God. This mistranslation has been corrected in the New KJV:
"And Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said." (Exo 7:13 NKJV).
Subsequently, in the first five plagues that God sends on Egypt, the hardening of Pharaoh’s heart happened by his own will or state of mind as explained above. And it was not until after these self-hardening of his heart we start seeing that the Lord began to harden him:
      1. Blood: Phar “Pharaoh's heart grew hard hard” (7:22 NKJV)
      2. Frogs: Pharaoh “hardened his (own) heart” (8:15 NKJV)
      3. Gnats: “Pharaoh's heart grew hard” (8:19 NKJV)
      4. Flies: “Pharaoh hardened his (own) heart” (8:32 NKJV)
      5. Livestock die: “the heart of Pharaoh became hard” (9:7 NKJV)
      6. Boils: “The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh” (9:12 NKJV)
      7. Hail: Pharaoh “he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened” (9:34, 35)
      8. Locusts: God announced that “he hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants” and “hardened Pharaoh’s heart” (10:1; 10:20 NKJV)
      9. Darkness: “the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart” (10:27 NKJV)
      10. Death of the firstborn: “the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart” (11:10 NKJV).
Therefore, God's hardening is as a result of Pharaoh's initial hardening of his own heart and God's omniscient knowledge that he will never allow the children of Israel to go.

In the light of the above, it will not be difficult for us to interpret Rom 9:17-18 more accurate. God only hardens hearts that have been hardened.
The implication of this incident is that when man persistently opposes the will of God, God can hasten their destruction by helping them harden their hearts further:
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient." (Rom 1:28 KJV)
Therefore, we should not despite the patience of God:
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Rom 2:4 KJV).

Why flogging the scripture. God has spoken in many of the verses and you cannot throw it away looking for your own. Not one, two three or four places. Even with Pharaoh action in other verses, it was in line with what God has said. Dont twist Gods word. Reason why He said for this purpose I raise him to show my power. So if it is pharaoh who did this then where is Gods words. You are becoming controversial and dont know why that. God is supreme. Is just like what God said concerning Esau and Jacob. Both to will and to do are His.

Abel Damina ran through scriptures proving nothing but rather confirming what the scriptures said: that God indeed hardened Pharoah’s heart. Abel Damina used to bring New Testament scriptures to explain the Old Testament, I agree with that but why didn’t he mention any scripture to explain all the Exodus scriptures he read ( Exodus 4:21; 7:3,13,14,22; 8:19,32; 9:12,34,35; 10:1,20; 11:10; 14:4,8,17). Also read in Isaiah 63:17. The question is why did the scripture says: “The Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart? Romans 9:17 (cf Exodus 9:16). If you read Romans 9:17, it explains exactly ( these scriptures ) the reason for which the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart.
Please, can you answer this questions?
    1. How did God display His power in Pharoah?
    2. And how was the Lord’s name was proclaimed throughout all the earth?

I do not understand what this pastor is trying to get at. For christ's sake this man should stiop leading men astray. He even established that the lord hardened Pharaoh's heart. The purpose of the scriptures is to clearly understand the love of God for mankind through christ's cruel death on the the cross. And to get back to God's original plan for man must be through Christ. And to achieve that righteousness , holiness, and purity with genuine love for God and mankind is key. This man hardly preaches salvation messages, he is only interested in disputing over a sentences in Hebrew or in English. Jesus did not go to any school he was able to accomplish the purpose for which he came to this world. Please stop deceiving people and allow the spirit of God to direct his children. You are not more educated than Apostle Paul, he did not criticize Hebrew or Latin words. Let men serve their God the way they are led by the spirit of God. Or do you want to also say that Jesus was not crucified. . I will not be surprised to hear that from you any time soon. I

The Bible has two parts mister. The locust(letters) and the Rema(power). If u read just the locust and forget the Rema then you'll make mistakes. How can interpret the English in the Bible. That book is a spiritual book, so you must approach it thus.
    Stop confusing your congregation.

Damina I think you got it really wrong here because that phrase I hardened the heart of pharaoh shows the negligence of pharaohs to act accordingly to the information of Moses from the lord and the therefore hardened his heart more in order that his mighty will be known, what the heart stand for in that phrase is the mindset of pharaoh

Pharoah hardened his heart cos there won't be slaves to carry on the works in Egypt. And God at some point hardened his heart too to punish him the more.
Picking verses will only leave people confused. For proper understanding, read the whole book.
Abeg make e go sitdown, cos for the whole 14mins there was nothing to learn just a waste of time

What do you have to say about this .
    Romans 9:17-18
For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
For the Scriptures say that God told Pharaoh, “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth.”

[32]And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.

Hmmm. This is just one of the preachers of letters of the Bible. Going by his own understanding, it means God did not take glory over the life of Pharaoh. It means the hardened heart of Pharaoh was what divided the red sea. This is absolute nonsense. Pls someone should give me his email address. There is need to help those under him.
