Hey everyone! I included the blow dry in this cutting tutorial so please please please let me know if the blow dry is something you would like to see in more videos! Everything is timed stamped too so you can skip over it, if you prefer not to watch! I want to give you the most out of each video so let me know if you'd like to see blow dries included in future videos!
I’m doing level 2 hairdressing and I’m really struggling with my blow drys.. I never seem to get the root dry enough and I struggle with how to part correctly and how to blow dry the small hair above ears. I’m currently watching the video so haven’t got to the blow dry yet but I know I would Lov every vid to have the blow dry in it 😊also lov your videos
Yes, please include the blow dry styling in your tutorials! This video was perfection from start to finish. I love my hair to have a layered cut and round brush blow dry, but after my stylist of 11 years left the field, I've been searching for someone who knows what i want, and I'm on my 4th stylist now in 1 year. For some reason, it seems like it's hard to find stylists now who can do what you did in this video. I learned a ton from watching this. Thank you for making great informational videos with simple explanations. ❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed the blow dry and I'm glad the video was helpful! I understand the challenge of finding a good stylist, but there are good ones out there! I hope 2025 is the year you find one ❤️🤞❤️
You make it look so easy. I've had short hair nearly all my life (75) and it's only been long for the past 3 yrs. Getting used to styling it is a challenge but the ease of just putting/pulling it up is nice. I enjoy watching you style the longer layers, including how to dry it.
Thank you so much Summer for another amazing tutorial exceptionally explained and definitely pleased do more blow dry tutorials. Love your work girl ! Light and love!!🙏🏽🦋💕
This was an excellent tutorial! The layers look perfectly cut and blended. I enjoy the blow dry tutorial bc it helps to improve my drying process. What type of brush do you recommend for shorter layers by the side hair part that is thinner than the rest of my hair? When I use different sizes of round brushes, it “creases” or poofs out in that one area. It gives me fits lol.
This is a video idea I might put on my other channel! The brush sizes can get confusing. Usually the shorter your hair/layers you can use a smaller brush and the longer the bigger your brush. There is more to it than that though as brush size can create shape as well.
Thank you so much for the demo on high-recession, minimal hair density, esp. the sides. Perhaps if there is a concern about length of video, you could have a follow-up video for the styling for those who, like me, need all the help we can get! 🤪
Good question! I like the idea of doing a live model, but a lot more work behind the scenes to into it. It's something I do hope to explore this year though, so we'll see.

The pros and cons! Longer hair is more time consuming to dry but yes I love being able to just throw it back as well as more style options in general!
I wish there was someone in my area who could cut hair like you cut. I live in Hamburg NY. Your work is beautiful.l

Woohoo!
Do you still work in a salon? I want you to cut my long thick hair
When are you having a real model again?
Good question! I like the idea of doing a live model, but a lot more work behind the scenes to into it. It's something I do hope to explore this year though, so we'll see.
