I spoke with the guys at dotMod and the mods I have are early marketing examples and they will ensure that the marks I have on mine will not appear on the final retail versions.
Good to see a new mod and tank being released. Have to say I’m not a massive fan of their coils and the tank sounds very airy, but I do really like the minimalist mod. Very elegant. I also like that screen it’s really neat. Tempted just to get it for the mod. Thanks for the thorough review Mr T.

Great review as usual Todd thankyou, personally I think dotmod are a bit late to the party with their new products, nothing really new to offer but does make sense as they're known mostly (I believe) for the dotAIO and their system which can't be a huge cash cow being a niché within a niche. Could do with more things like the X that does atleast change things up a bit and incorporates other platforms. Otherwise this just seems like another sub-ohm kit.
This mod looks class, but ive hated the dotmod gold buttons forever lmao. Gold either looks extremely classy looking, or undeniably *cheap.* And Dotmod usually makes exquisite looking mods, but that button just makes it look meh lol
guessing who ever screwing the atty's down when boxing is cranking it down causing the atty rash mark on the top. better to have the atty not attached in the box or have a thin plastic atty guard on the bottom to stop that.

The Mod does look smart

Hi Todd, definitely tank on too tight but if you get a paper washer it solves the problem without being an eyesore 🌟🎊🤩🥳
Yeah I have the proper protectors in my vape drawer but annoying they came like that out the box :(
Great review but the coils even with the v2 they just don't last in comparison to its competitors.
I'll agree with that but the flavour is definitely better than the v1 coils, they were pretty poor before. Thanks for watching :)
