Why would a social worker stay in for an exam. Where is her daughter? Why didn't they wait for her approval and input.

So they don't know what is wrong with her. But they do know they gave her a rash with antibiotics and caused confusion with Benadryl. They seem to be making her sicker. Not good to bring in the team when her daughter/advocate stepped out. Nurse seems good but trapped in hospital machine. Sorry to trolll but this hospital is terrifying.

Medicine is not straight forward. Every medication, every procedure comes with its own side effects. Having said that I always like to ask the patient or the caretaker have you improved since you've been here? If the answer is no for too long (say two consecutive days) then it's time for change in the treatment.

@@sashu6231 IMO, a sick person flat on her back needs a family-member advocate by her side to help her stand up to an American hospital team too often driven by profit more than healing. I believe patient advocacy is critical and a medical team ethically should include the patient's support person(s). Sad but true.
