And she did the two races within an hour!😮
That's the crazy part. Then this weekend does it AGAIN to make sure we knew it wasn't a fluke. She's coming different this year...
It makes me proud to be dutch when I see an American guy taking the time to analyse a dutch athlete like this. Thank you
She is a badass! Watched her last year and her come back was fantastic
Agree with you! Femke is improving her raw sprint speed that will benefit her in first part 400mh. Thats Sydney's stronger part and now narrowing the gap there also to a possible low 51s and who knows sub51s on the 400mh.
She already went 51,45. And on top of your correct analysis of her improved speed she can also improve on the hurdling technique and 14 stride. So really no doubt in my mind that she can and will go sub 51.
@@rulifaller8474 Sydney 'gaining year after year'. Thats not True that 2023 48.7 400m was not higher level than that 2022 50.7 400mh WR. Didnt gain at all concerning speed. Also too lazy to run a 400m, 300m or 500m Indoor. I was right from the beginning joker!
@@QuamfyMarccalling a 3time WR holder lazy shows you don't use track knowledge but instead favoritism and feelings and emotions. You don't know what Sydney doing in private practice. She runs a 48 400m with Miller Uibo Naser And Paulino...whom you prolly don't even know 😡
I think the way you thought was wrong all along. You always compared her to Sydney, and understandably so, but also probably a bit lazily so. Because Sydney developed as an athlete at a much younger age. She was already Syd the Kid at the Olympic hurdles when Bol was just a young girl with athletics as a serious hobby. She did not first jumo a hurdle until three years later. So even though she is only a little bit younger than Sydney, she had a lot more gains to make. And she has been making them year on year.
I find it quite admirable that she is never fazed by Sydney’s performances, but just says honestly that she admires her and is striving to be just as good. Which might have looked a hopeless cause two years ago, but not so much anymore. And probably she would not be as good now without Sydney’s seemingly otherworldly performances
While she is of course going for gold at World Indoor in Glasgow, like every season her indoor campaign is in service of her outdoor 400mH.
Her coach has said that for the 2024 season they were paying special attention to her start and the corners (for 400mH outdoor, not indoor corners, although they may benefit).
So yeah, her 200m speed (and confidence after this meeting) is for sure going to help with both her indoor 400m and especially her 400mH in Paris.
With Britton and Sydney on their way back (to which events is still a guess) she's probably gonna need every improvement she can bring to the table and it's exciting to see there's going to be competition at this level...
Your first prenounciation attempt of "Klaver" was almost spot on👍.
Kendall Ellis won the New Balance Indoor meet with a time a full 3 seconds slower than Femke's!
Imprecionnte felicitaciones
It would be very exicting Christian later this year. Femke Bol Vs Sydney McLaughin. USA Vs the Netherlands. We are looking forward to the Olympic Games in Paris. Greetings from the Netherlands
What a phenomenon.
Thank you for this good description about Femke.
The differnce between FB and Syd are these: 1. You can see FB in a lot of races and Syd in a lot of talks about her absence . 2. FB coach Laurent Meuwly is a honorable man and Syd coach Bob Kersee has a doubish history.
Your words are rubbish. Bobby K made Sydney a WR holder 3 times. They conquered the hurdles and are now going for the flat 400.
She shaved off 2/100ths of a second of the indoor 400 m, again. 49.24 it is now. Lieke Klaver came in second at 50.10 (a personal best).
Can we stop talking about Sydney, Femke Bol race alot more races then Sydney.
3 World Records... Sydney McLaughlin has been running since 6 years old. She should back off to save her body for Olympics
@@Joyce-zl4qd bullshit
@@Joyce-zl4qd Femke broke 5 world records since May 2022. Pay attention. Indoor 500m record in 2022, outdoor 300m hurdles record in 2022, 40 year old 400m indoor record broken in 2023 and now broke her own record twice this year.
Hey shut your mouth. Let her run.
It's an analysis/reaction from someone who runs track. Go somewhere else if you don't want to learn anything.
