Agree 110%. Whenever he is asked about his wife/family (of which he is quite protective and secretive), he only expresses the deep love they have. And it was love at first sight. They met in 2006 when they were in different stage productions in London. His wife is 7 years older but, beautifully, it doesn't mean a thing.
ive loved him since, u know.. downtowb abbey! when he died i stop watching the show.. but i agree with u, his amazing in the legion, his acting is on point, and thats a pretty complex and challenging character to play in the legion.. but he was great..

I would also take a leap of faith... And look how he is so good in Legion now... That's a character suits him so well while challenging at the same time
As a fan of Downton and Dan Stevens, it seemed hard for me to accept the fact that he left Downton several years ago just at the highlight of the drama and went to the US to play some low-budget films which had bad scripts and received miserable box office. But this year it seems well, and I truly hope he'll have better opportunities since apparently he deserves more than what he got now.
The makeup threw me when I first saw a photo of him but then I realized the ending transformation wouldn't be as impactful if we knew what he looked like from the beginning. Plus, the makeup and wig are historically accurate to the French nobility anyway. I liked the evil laugh as well and the smirk he gives afterwards. So condescending.

This was a really fantastic interview...like....really a genuine pleasure to watch. Dan Steven's seemed very at ease, and the interviewer was very good at picking up the dynamic between them. I wish it was longer!
I close my eyes and hear Cary Elwes! If Studio Ghibli and Disney ever make a Cat Returns 2, then Dan could take over Cary's role as Baron Humbert Von Gikengen.
I wish that when he turned into the prince he kept his facial hair He really looks weird without it, Which is why I believe he looks much more handsome/ beautiful as the beast than his human version. Anyone else feel the same?

I think he looks fine without a beard, but the wig they gave him is godawful - I think no one could have pulled that off lol.
