Glad she is finally reporting to prison and better serve her full sentence and not a day less. She still has not admitted any guilt for defrauding. How the jury only found she defrauded investors and not the public is crazy. I went through breast cancer in 2016 and this is sensitive to me. She was going to put so many people's lives at risk and would have used this to see if they had any health issues or cancer especially when medical is not free in the US. I live in Ontario, Canada so I am fortunate to have majority healthcare.
Not having a door to a shared room, working in a kitchen, waking up at 6am, having to make her own bed..... Please, at least she will have a private bathroom, unlike other prisons of higher security levels. She will still get to see her kids with visitation.
She had her kids with a purpose and that purpose what not because of wanting to be a mother. I am surprised she did not try for a 3rd kid.
What a waste of your smarts and using it with pure selfishness and lies.
Don't wish you well because you think you are still innocent. The fact that you accused Sunny of being abusive to you as a tactic to show it was his fault and not yours. You were a bully too and past employees have said so. You deserve this and should have been given more years.

Sorry about your illness. Serious illness can be expensive in the states and I'd imagine paying 2 to 3 times the taxs that we pay in the states would be worth it if you face a serious illness but I know the majority of people don't face serious illnesses. Most people here prefer to put that money towards covering inflation for their daily needs

@Pat P I know, right! It's because she didn't murder them with a weapon. Then again, I guess technically, she really did with her Theranos machine. A lot of people in the US who cannot afford a doctor would have used her machine to see if they had any health concerns or cancer. So, I guess it would be murder because she would have put their lives at risk with her useless machine. How the jury only saw that she defrauded investors and not the public is crazy.

It's a culture thing. Up and down the San Francisco peninsula are many people of her type. The College Admissions Scandal? If you read the indictments (Massachusetts Federal Court online), the dozens of cases weren't simply a "scandal" - it was racketeering. One fraudster was recorded talking to her mother, paraphrasing: "Fooled them all again, only the stupid people do it the honest way." Another young woman faked her athletics, saying she was the team captain of her champion high school volleyball team; in truth she rode expensive horses in vaulting competitions. Keep in mind, these folks all live in the same area code.

Technically, she should never be allowed to earn a dollar until she pays back all the funds. However, seeing that her partner is extremely wealthy, I am sure she will just live off those assets and never pay back a dime of the stolen funds.

I love it, just for all those Folks just needing honest medical care they did not receive . And Corporate Media please do not call it Club Fed, Federal minimum security prisons contain the same dehumanizing properties of all prisons, after all this is the U.S. Government, she will be strip searched multiple times in her prison career, she will be given a number and won't be called Elizabeth by any staff, she will live in a basketball gymnasium with 150 other inmates, she breaks the rules and she goes to real prison. She is in there with about 600 other Criminals just as evil and manipulating as herself. The Food is not what she is used to for sure, and she will have to work, which means she has a Boss, and Folks that are Bosses in the Federal Prison System have agendas they like to follow. She is going to go through some serious psychological changes at the very least.
