I actually had this guy as my intro to psych class that I took over a decade ago. I think most of the people calling him racist are just a bunch of butt hurt students that didn't like the fact that he would roast anyone who would say something stupid during his lectures. Neggy was hilarious and made his class engaging. Plus he wrote the textbook for his class and it only cost like $15 as opposed to all the other textbooks that cost a mortgage to buy.

Hillsdale College has accepted black students since its founding in 1844, and was the second school in the nation to grant four-year liberal arts degrees to women. I have a degree from UCF. Wonderful, just friggin' wonderful.
I also remember about a brouhaha that happened some years ago regarding the university shielding a Muslim conference against criticism. I think some people got suspended or reprimanded, maybe even fired. Then there was that incident where a professor accused an entire class of cheating on an exam (I'm pretty sure the video is still up on UA-cam).
I cannot express how glad I am to've gotten my degree when I did (over 20 years ago). The place was actually kinda cool back then.

This really is a problem all over the country tbh. I hear stories from older people like my mom and they talk about getting a good education and having fun while spending time at university. Now, everywhere you go is swamped by progressive ideology
He’s a smart professor who articulated concisely obvious privileges. Bizarre. It confirms what you keep hearing. Administrators are such cowards and careerists. The response to the petition should be NO!
It's the biggetry of low expectations, which is hurting blacks a lot more in the long run than whatever little remnants of system racism still exist.
I don't like these videos. I always like listening to AJW videos on my way home from work and these videos are too short. I prefer the normal format/ video length. I much prefer the long form comprehensive analysis to these short "gist of the story" type of videos. I took his intro to psych class back in my freshman year in 2004. At first, I was offended by the things that he said, but then I considered them. One thing that he said that I still quote to this day is "stereotypes are true; that's how they become stereotypes". That's the thing about Dr. Negy: he told you the cold, hard truths of the world. I didn't agree with everything that he said, but he got me to think about things that I'd never considered before.
UCF is super liberal. Any big county in Florida is usually pretty liberal for the most part
Went to UCF 11 years ago and there really wasn't any of this bullshit. That was in CS though, so I'm sure it was brewing elsewhere. When I went to school it was crappy dubstep and x/molly, that's all anyone cared about.
That was the most based colored gay man that i had the pleasure to take his course. He was like a breath of fresh intellectual air🥲

Do Oklahoma University, they had a professor fired over using the N-word in a historical context and even warned the students that it was history and was to show that even in the 1900’s racism was still alive and well and even documented in government papers ie, she was a massive lib supporting social justice causes and was essentially screwed over. It was a huge deal in Oklahoma, so much so, a black activist group made OU bend to demands and literally (I wish I was making this up) tried to have a KFC put on campus for blacks only, because the chick-Fil-a on campus is white chicken with white “invaders” in that “space” lol really look into, it’s right up your alley if you haven’t already compiled a complete list.
As a black academic, I do not consider this black privilege. It is not a privilege to be subjected to the racism of low expectations by fools who think they’re doing me a favor. It’s insulting nonsense.
Here's the happy ending though, Negy fought his dismissal and has been reinstated at UCF.
Thank god I ended up not going to that place for my PhD. Not that I expect many universities I’m or the one I’m going to to be much better. But at least it’s something.

Yeah thats a point ive brought up a few times and ppl choose to ignore it,there was a point in this country were being wht was better you had better chances in society call it privilege if you want....in that time period ppl who weren't wht but could pass would acted like they were wht,ppl that were wht mixed with something else would claim the wht part and try to act like that was it....now and days you have ppl who are wht trying to pretend that they are not and ppl that have something else mixed in only claiming the non wht(like obomber)even if its the tiniest drop

I think the 4th amendment should apply to university investigations. They need to find what they are looking for, instead of taking random instances of questionable judgenent as an excuse to fire a very tenured professor

People on the right need to assume positions in academia, state and city governments, Fortune 500 companies, Hollywood, and corporate news media otherwise turning this around is only going to take longer. It’s not as difficult either. If people on the far left can do it, so can independents, centrists and the right.
Before any of this communist subversion can even begin to be reverted, the entirety of academia needs to be purged. The far left has been doing it to the institutions of higher learning for 50 years, and it's going to take at the very least that long to fix. These lysenkoist bastards are permeating even the hard sciences now.
Doing otherwise is pointless, as the colleges and universities keep pumping out the brainwashed future leaders of every institution in society. The Defense Department tried to install a diversity and inclusion officer for the Special Forces for crying out loud.
@@ekscalybur I agree but that is not going to happen if people on the Right don’t assume positions in academia. Regardless of whether it’s STEM, history, law, sociology, etc they need to get their foot in the door instead of turning a blind eye.
