Sara Shane on Love That Bob aka The Bob Cummings Show

Sara Shane (THREE BAD SISTERS) guest stars on The Bob Cummings Show in 1957. Like Cummings (Stay Young and Vital), Shane would later write books about health and well-being under her real name, Elaine Hollingsworth. Ms. Shane passed away 7/31/22 at age 94.

I met Bob Cummings in 1982 while working as a book clerk at Book City in Burbank. He was so pleasant. Sara Shane was such a beautiful woman. I saw "Tarzan;s Greated Adventure" in 1959 when I was ten and took notice of her, but it wasn't until I saw an episode of the original Outer Limits series, Season II, in which she starred as a scientists wife in "Wof 359" that I really took an interest in her acting career and her later life. What a striking woman.

Thanks for the upload of The Bob Cummings Show, with guest star Sara Shane, best remembered for A King and Four Queens (with Clark Gable), and a Perry Mason episode from 1961, The Case of the Envious Editor, with James Coburn, Phillip Abbott, Jennifer Howard, and Barbara Lawrence. Loved her ice cream blonde look in that episode.
