Skyraider, T-28s, Mustangs yahooo!! In 1963 I recall seeing about 18 or 20 T-28s lined up at Davison AF in Virginia, and Pilatus turboprops doing what looked miraculous to me. I liked Army Aviation and ended my military tour as crewchief on a deadly Beech U8-F six place 1965 model pursuit craft, in Alaska. 🍷😃
Way back in the early 80's I was working offshore and doing crew change out of an airport near Aransas Pass, Texas. Helicopters take us from the rig to the shore and back and we were transported to a small airport nearby. There was a T-28 there that seemed to be flying almost every time we went through there. Loud but oh so sexy in the screaming yellow paint. Love to watch that plane fly. P.S. I was flying in and out on an old Convair 340 with the radial engines. Fire spitting, smoking, loud and beautiful radials.
So many warbirds..... Thank you for a great show. I only wish the types of aircraft were described in the video somewhere. Not all of us know just by sight what we're looking at. Thanks again!
Kinda a sad note, but at 37:03, that's Craig Hutain flying the CAF red nose Mustang...he was killed in the Wing Over Dallas crash in November last year. He was a great pilot.
I'm not an airplane guy, I however appreciate these very cool machines and their owners. My question is, who can afford to keep these ex military birds in the air?
Also commonly referred to simply as the “Tom Wood Mustang” for the now late owner Tom Wood. Its cared for and looked after by Tom Wood Aviation at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport
Ive never been to an airshow and it looks amazing to see these birds fly
AirshowStuff is the next best thing, great videos.

Great opening shot 2 of my all time favorite aircraft passing by. The sound of the engines is music to my ears.

Awesome looking airplane.
What is the name of the Mustang at 7:40? Does it even have one?
I've always heard it called High-G for the letters on the side, it doesn't have any nose art
