Brilliant. Even though I'm a microfarmer I always get great ideas from you on how to capitalize on pig qualities, how to manage them, and how to monetize your hard work.
Are you selling him the logs, or hiring him to split them for you to market the wood? I’ve been thinking about firewood. There’s a lot of timber on our leased farms.
@@FarmBuilder I’m looking forward to seeing how you progress with it. My farm truck is an old 2500hd gasser, so I don’t see being able to economically deliver wood without making some major investments I’m not ready for. I wanted to buy a diesel, but I’m glad I didn’t because a diesel in my price range would have been on its last legs. I’m going to work part time in a sugarbush for a guy who does quite a bit of firewood this winter. I’m very much looking forward to it.
Can you give me your opinion . I gilt and bore and they are 3 years old. Do you think I breed them or it to late sense she never been bread? If anyone give some good advice will be appreciated. Never done this, first timer . Thanks

He's just processing, we'll be selling the wood this winter.
@@FarmBuilder do you have a dump truck? My main concern about trying to do something commercial with firewood is delivery.
We have a big dump trailer. You are correct that this is a volume game of efficiency. Will be making a follow up video and discuss.

You can try, personally I would butcher them and get young stock.
