I have been watching for 4 minutes and its already 1000% more helpful and less confusing than all of the other stuff I have been able to find on the internet. Thank you for making this
I want to share the following summary on this quest and it's requirements, especially intended for new players. About the quest: - This quest is only available to if lvl 56+, not a season char, and not a graduated char. - If you used Fughar's timepiece, your 1st season char did NOT graduate, it only changed status to non-seasonal character, therefore this quest will be available. * This means that this quest to get Narchillan gear is only available to your 1st season char after using Fughar's timepiece. * The quest is not available if you instead graduated your 1st season char. This quest is not available on your 2nd season char after it graduates either. This quest was literally made by PA to put some gear on your 1st season char after using the timepiece, so that it is still playable. About Naru gear: - Naru gear is bound to character, this means that other chars can't use it, you can't even transfer it to storage. - Naru gear can be used even after becoming a non-seasonal character by either graduating or using Fughar's Timepiece. * adding to the above, this means that you can only convert PEN Naru gear that your 1st season char has. About enhancing Naru gear: - Naru gear is enhanced exclusively with beginner blackstones, but these stones are not loot from killing monsters, they are given away by progressing the main quests, therefore its supply is limited. - Season characters need to get full PEN Naru gear and accessories and then convert them to PRI Tuvala. - and then they would need to get a second set of PEN Naru gear to convert them to Narchillan in this quest (only weapons and armor) * The above means that that your limited supply of beginner blackstones shall last you to get 2 sets of Naru gear to PEN. You can achive this by either being lucky during your enhancements, or spending stacks to improve enhancement chances. I wasn't lucky, my beginner blackstones did not last me enough for my 2nd set of PEN Naru gear, so I only have 2 pieces of armor and 1 weapon. This quest is supposed to be available only once per family, so at this point I may end up waiting for the next season and try again. Sorry for the long post, but I think there are so many things happening that are hard to follow for new players.
What happens if you sold to vendors the rest of the beginner black stones? I didn't know how a second pen naru gear would be useful and I sold them :( . Is there a way to get them back?
In other words, this method doesn't work for anyone that has played in the past and wants a second set of narchilian. Hearing that directly would have made this 3 times more useful. Welp, no more free TRI-TET gear for me i guess.
You no longer need to make a PEN Naru to acquire the Narchillian gear. Here is the new requirement: - A character of Lv. 50 or higher who have completed the Calpheon Main Quests or a characters of Lv. 56 or higher (Not available for season characters) -Talk to Fughar
AND ALSO, when you do your awakening quest blackspirit will give you "Canon Awakening weapon". That weapon can be exchange to Narchillan awakening weapon from Fughar so don't throw it away. If you accidentally threw it you can ticket PearlAbyss and ask for ingame items recovery which you got 2 times for 1 year.
Also since we don't get Narchillan accessories set instead you can use base Capotia accessories from leveling reward 58-61 in [Y] challenges of necklace, belt, ring, and earring (stats similar to TRI accessories) and it will leave you out 2 slot for extra earring and ring. For the earring you can get it from Winter region main quest reward, called "Bronte's Bolt" 12ap 28accuracy and for the ring you can just buy it of from central market. (even though I ticket them and ask for it but don't know when will it come out or will they care about it and do it, maybe you guys can ticket them too for a set of Narchillan accessories). ✌️✌️
Actually there's a weekly quest if you ever threw your Canon awakening weapon away. It's an NPC called Tulem in Altinova, all you need to do is give him x10 Steels and he will hand it to you.
Thanks for the detailed guide. Btw guys, Pen Naru gears are no longer needed to exchange Narchillan. Just get the quest from Black Spirit and talk to Fughar after graduated.
I did use the timepiece yesterday, short story line will be available if your character is below lvl 10. I did not lose anything, black spirit will pop up after the short story is completed 30min and than u spam a con console and everything will be insta complete and u will be where u was before, except for special items u got from daily login(coupons, inc slots) but I v slots from quests u get back.
@@getmysamurai no, if your new character did already follow a littlebit the main quest line it does not work. Just to be 100% sure just create a new character and after the cutscene at start log off and use time piece and it works like a charm. Went from sorcerers to Maegu, you will need to lvl up your new weapons as they will be useless even with the coupon.. except if u want to lose the pen weapons for your new character.. I did use the timepiece when after all my weapons and gear where pen on season server and did place the weapons of the sorceress into storage, and un equip all gear and used the time piece now I need to wait till season ends because I don’t to use the season weapons coupon to exchange weapons the sorceress to maegu, instead I do lvl maegu weapons up to pen and after season you have both except u can only exchange 1 set to boss.
For anyone who sold their beginner stones, and now have a naked fking character with nothing, you will probably want to make a lifeskilling character anyway so buy a tet (or if you are poor a TRI loggia gathering clothes). This is a one piece armor that is used for gathering and for that reason have som good defence stats. Then go get your awakening canon weapon from altinova, exchange it for narch awakening weapon at fughar and put on your capotias that you got, you should be somewhat okay to farm some spots.
what do you mean naked characted, the new character should be able to equip the tuvala from the main, and the old main can get the acherlion gear for free, or i am i missing something ?
I was about to ask in the comment if as of now Fughar will still only gives you Main and Sub Weapon while im doing it Right now, And Yeah Fughar will give you now an Awakening Narchillan Weapon. I hope this help someone :D nice Tutorial btw! keep it up
Thanks a million for sparing me the agony of grinding through 8 billion gears' worth of silver! My sanity - and my mouse - both owe you big time. You're the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now 😅
By far this is the best and most clear guide out there I can’t tell you how much this helps me as a newish player never having used the time piece and having everyone give diff answers. I did have one question do you keep the inventory slots on the new char?
Thank you! But maybe you would want to put at the first seconds of the video something like: "How to get a second set of free TRI boss gears (Narchillan)", then that would be a lot more convincing for people to continue watching your 10 minutes long video.
Man you absolutely saved my ass. I thought i fucked up because, although i used the timepiece, i still wanted to main my original season char in the long run and i didnt know you could get the Narchillan gear. Also i didnt even need to have Pen Naru gear for some reason, my inventory on the non season char was empty, i could just get the Narchillan gear for free.
Great video, quick and very informative. I just have one question is it still worth it of doing the timepiece if you want to play on the first character becasuse of the graduating quest? Beucase I would like just to use the piece for the free character but not to lose the stuff for my main from the graduating quest, any tips? Thanks!
Thanks for this video it helped a lot! But i do have a question. So if i do this method can I just graduate my second season character and decide who to do the Jetina exchange with?
It’s recommended to be at level 60 or 61 to graduate but it’s really up to you. The Jetina quest line is family-wide so you can do it on any character that is level 56+
Yup no longer need to do the quest. Be a level 56 non-seasonal character or level 50 with completed calpheon quest. Then you talk to Fughar, no more questing or PEN naru required.
i figured it out but now its like what do i even do with my non season char now? they dont give you any rings or belts or anything so my AP is so much lower than it was with full pen tuvala. Can't even grind the same spots i was grinding. i dont know what to do now.@@getmysamurai

@@starryeyes5860 you should get some capotia accessories for reaching certain levels, but if your non-season character. If you don’t want to graudate your current seasonal character to convert those PEN tuvala accessories into normal accessories, then you can just grind it out and buy some tri accessories which should be relatively cheap
Thank you! one quastion, I think i saw way to complete all main quests with the new season character after use timepiece in one minute, i don't remeber where i saw that, can you help me? and i'm lost with your new videos, I did the same in this video, should i apply what in your videos too? this game is crazy complexed
If it’s your first character, make sure you finish your main quest up to mediah questline. - after the recent update you no longer need to make a second set of PEN naru to get Narchillian gear. Just talk to fughar with your non-season character and he will give you a Narchillian set.
@@rlifeh if your second character is a seasonal character you can skip the majority of the quest by following the starting main quest up to Alustin in Velia.
i dunno why but fughar not give me the option to exchange.. uneqip check, not season char check, pen naru check, quest black spirit and fughar check untill exchange part...
You can only convert one set of tuvala gears (armors, accessories, weapons), which makes your second set of tuvala gears pretty much useless for your non-season characters.
Does the accessories factor in this or can i only focus on pen v tuvala ing the naru gear then use the caphonia..I hope i didn't get the name wrong , as the accessories
It's a free character that will get that same level as you without actually doing anything, so I would say it's worth doing. You can do the time-piece quest when you feel like graduating from the season server.
@@getmysamurai i understand that. But I usually just play male characters. And I'm not interested in other classes. But I guess it's worth coz of family fame.
Black Spirit -> Suggested. Prereqs: -Completion of Calpheon Main questline & be Level 50+ -OR- Be Level 56+ If you've done the quest before I don't think you can do it again.
You can make tri Naru acceasories to get you started, if you have Witch’s accesories those are even better, they drop almost everywhere you grind. There are some quest accessories as well. You can use the converted tuvala accessories, or you can use tag your characters and use item copy so both your characters will have the same gear, which makes the narch gear pointless or send it to another alt character.
wait if i graduate like that i can just have a brand new season character and do the season pass all over again? i see that it renewed for your timepiece character
The progression of your season pass carries over to your time-pieced character. I didn’t take any of my season pass rewards on this account that’s why it looked like the season pass was renewed.
In order to get the conversion stone, you need to graduate your seasonal character, who will then receive the conversion stones. Once you convert your seasonal tuvala gear all your non-seasonal characters will be able to use it.
Time-piecing a character is not equal to graduation, it’s merely swapping your normal and seasonal characters with the benefit of gaining the levels of your seasonal character.
Narchillian gear can only be used by non-seasonal character and you can only convert tuvala after graduating, meaning you will no longer have a seasonal character.
@@getmysamurai Ah ok thank you got it! One more question, when I graduate, I can convert one set of pen Tuvala gear to non season Tuvala and then boss gear, and then also one set of PEN Naru gear to Narchullian gear on the same character or do I have to use the Fughars timepiece to do both?
@@yellow5218 Time-piece is actually a season pass requirement, and you need to complete the season pass to be able to graduate, so i guess the answer is Yes, you need to use the time-piece.
You can only convert 1 seasonal tuvala set into regular tuvala set (you only get conversion stones through graduation). Jetina only takes a regular PEN tuvala gear into boss gears which can only be done once per gear slot per account/family (I actually have a video for this as well). Once you do this your other character will have no gear unless you want to use the gears from the quest. Narchillian gear is pretty easy to acquire and has higher stats than a TRI boss gear.
Only seasonal characters can use the seasonal tuvala set, so there’s no real reason to have a second seasonal PEN tuvala unless you want it for your next seasonal character.
I just started a new acc on pc. And i made a musa. I still want to make my musa main, and maybe tag a woosa later once i hit 62. Should i do this once im totally done with season and not convert my weapons to woosa? Like is that possible
Did I mess up if I made PEN Tuvala on my first character and I haven't yet used a timepiece or graduated? First character so that's all I was told to do before I saw this.
Also this guide is now outdated. This is supposed to be for the Narchillian Gear, but after the august 9 update, you no longer need the PEN Naru or Fughar Quest. You just simply talk to Fughar on a non-season character and he’ll give you Narchillian gear.
@@getmysamurai Thanks! So if I timepiece to switch characters I can still use my current Tuvala gear on the new one? And only graduation converts it into regular Tuvala gear. And Narchillian gear can be accepted by non seasonal characters at any time. If I understand all that correctly. So what do future seasonal characters wear once your Tuvala is converted? Sorry for the questions. I haven't got a straight answer in game lol.
@@cercieshaia9498 future seasonal characters can make another set of tuvala gear that can be converted into non-seasonal tuvala, then you can use the boss exchange coupon to convert one of the pen tuvala gears (except accessories) into a tet boss gear.
@@getmysamurai Thanks. That clears up some of the confusion. Since this one's going till December now I'll find something that should be fun for a while.
@@getmysamurai Ah nvm, I tried this guide and I end up doing a Canon awakening weekly quest that was extremely easy, got my canon awakening weapon to exchange it for a narchillan awakening one, once again, thankyou for the straight forward and simple guide
You’re only given 1 boss weapon exchange coupon, meaning you get to exchange one tuvala armor or weapon into 1 boss armor or weapon. The point of the video is to get decent equipment (Narchillian Set) to a character that you used the time-piece on as it will no longer able to use your seasonal tuvala equipment and would end up gearless instead.
@@aldoard pet food is for when your pet gets hungry. When getting your pet to a higher Tier that’s when you use the wizard pet and other pets to increase your chances of getting the higher Tier pet.
It's really up to you. This is more of a convenience for your alt characters so you don't have to keep on swapping gears whenever you need it on one of ém.
@@getmysamurai Think my response from yesterday got deleted cuz i tried to post a link, anyways i think you missed my point and you can look it up in the global lab updates for 28th july 2023 as it says as follows: Narchilanequipment acquisition quests have been improved as follows. PEN (V) You can obtain it just by talking to Fughar without having to craft Naru equipment. Meaning aslong as you have a charakter at or above level 56 you get the Narchilan gear just by talking to Fughar.
This is amazing, is it an intentional mechanic or is it an exploit... like an oversight from PA that isn't meant to be a thing? I'd really love to have 2 characters from this season with a good head start :)
Skill points isn’t really a big deal at the current state of the game, you can upgrade all your skills to the max as long as you have the level for it, unless you want to max out your weight capacity skill which will also be level gated
Is there a point to do this if I want my original character to have the best gear (PEN Tuvala) and not end up with Narchillan gear? Is there a way to give Narchillan gear to the new character that the Timepiece will make into a same level character as my main (the one using the Timepiece)?... because ideally, I would like to have best gear on my main, and have the Timepiece only provide a leveled up secondary character with usable gear if possible? What does the Timepiece even do for me if I actually WANT to keep playing my main, but would also not like to waste the chance of using it for making a leveled up alt?
Basically you make 2 sets of PEN Naru, 1st set you convert into Seasonal Tuvala for your Main, then 2nd set you convert to Narchillian for your second character. However, Narchillian cannot be used by seasonal characters and seasonal tuvala cannot be used by non-seasonal characters, so if you use the timepiece your main character can use the Narchillian gears until you convert your seasonal tuvalas into regular tuvalas through graduation.
Timepiece basically gives you a character with the same level as your character so you don’t have to go through the process of leveling up another one.
I understand all that, but what I dont understand is - can my main still use the converted PEN Tuvala when he graduates and goes on the normal server, BUT I want my alt to use Narchillan set instead of my main? Basically, I want my alt to use the Narchillan set if that is possible? ...and my main to keep using the converted Tuvala PEN since it is still slightly better and I want my main to keep progressing to make boss gear too@@getmysamurai
If you already exhausted the beginner stones from your Main questline, you can process the normal blackstones with 3:1 ratio, but that could get expensive. The alternative I used was making another character and get the beginner stones through the main quest, should be more than enough for you to get a full set of PEN Naru and then exchange for the Narch gear.
Even if you don’t get the narchillian gear this season, you can still get it next season and will most likely be a lot easier once you got your simplified quest. If you’re new player PEN tuvala is your main priority to get the Tet Boss Gears.
Using your Level 25+ Season Character, Click "Quest" on Fughar, you might need to scroll down, it should say "Fughar's Special Timepiece" if it's not there, check your Pearl Inventory if you already have it, otherwise i'd contact support from their bdo website.
Your seasonal tuvala gear can only be equipped by your seasonal character. After the end of the season or after graduating you will receive the conversion stones to convert them into regular tuvala gears only by then can your non-seasonal characters use the tuvala gears.
If you have a non-season character with PEN Narus or have enough beginner black stones to make a PEN Naru, yes. Only non-season characters can accept the Naru Quest.
It’s to give your character that has become a non-season character, after using the time-piece, a decent gear, which is the Narchillian gear. Narchillian gear can be used by any of your characters except the seasonal character.
If you already finished the main questline on your current character where the reward is 1k beginner stones, the alternative is make a new character and obtain them again as rewards from the main quest line.
@@getmysamurai but then how do i change them over? i cant put beginner stones in the storage or naru gear? or is narchilon gear just usable and able to be stored? I have one naked character with a pen boss armor piece, and a 61 with full pen tuvala. not sure what is best course of action.
@@dissgusting Narchillian Equipment can be put to Storage as it is a Family-Wide equipment, however you Seasonal character cannot use the Narchillian Equipment until after graduation and becomes a regular/non-seasonal character.

Most people recommend for you to use it at 61, you can even push up to 62 depending on your preference. If you’re not going to use one of the characters it wouldn’t matter much, getting to 61 is still relatively easy even on non-seasonal servers.
@@MultiSplitsecond you should be focusing on getting a set of PEN tuvala armor/weapon/accessories. Narchillian gear no longer requires a set of PEN Naru.
Very interesting :) Had no idea about the Narchillan gear. If I don't want to use the timepiece, can I still do this? Like if I have full PEN Tuvala, can I also have the PEN Naru gear stay in my inventory after graduation? or will the conversion process only keep the Tuvala set and delete all other season gear?
Yes, you can still get the Narchillian gear even without using the timepiece as long as you have PEN Naru gear to exchange for the Narchillian Gear. The conversion process will not delete anything in your inventory, but it will keep you from using any items that is meant for "SEASON CHARACTERS" only.
@@getmysamurai Thanks man, I know you can only have one set of Tuvala converted and was worried anything else would get deleted :) Already sold the extra beginner stones this season, but definitely going to do this next season then to give an alt some gear for bosses.
If you totally have zero beginner black stones on your character, then your alternative is to make a new character and receive the stones through the quest line.
Nope, so when you graduate your season character, you will receive the conversion stones to convert your season tuvala gears into regular tuvala gears which will allow your other characters to wear them. You will also receive a boss gear exchange coupon to convert one of your Tuvala gears into a Boss gear. Before you graduate you should make sure that all your Tuvala gears are already PEN as they are very easy to enhance and they are equivalent of TET boss gears. You can no longer use the time-filled black stones to enhance your Tuvala gears once you graduate.
The equipment that you get from the main quest or you can buy a set of gears in central market. Your time-pieced character should still get a whole lot of beginner stones from questing though, you can use those stones to make a PEN Naru.

By far this is the best and most clear guide out there I can’t tell you how much this helps me as a newish player never having used the time piece and having everyone give diff answers. I did have one question do you keep the inventory slots on the new char?
Your new character will get the inventory slots through the black spirit quests

So if i do this method can I just graduate my second season character and decide who to do the Jetina exchange with?
It’s recommended to be at level 60 or 61 to graduate but it’s really up to you. The Jetina quest line is family-wide so you can do it on any character that is level 56+

is it better if i can get another set of tuvala gear (tet/pen) and use that instead? is narchillan better than pen tuvala?
You can only convert one set of tuvala gears (armors, accessories, weapons), which makes your second set of tuvala gears pretty much useless for your non-season characters.
What do we do for the timepiece'd character if we have a season Shai that has no awakening weapon? Just gotta start from scratch?
Shai's Tuvala Talent Weapon is what other class' awakening weapon is.
Does the accessories factor in this or can i only focus on pen v tuvala ing the naru gear then use the caphonia..I hope i didn't get the name wrong , as the accessories
The Narchillian set is only for your armors and weapons, no accessories.
Is it worth doing that or graduate the character? I enjoy my sage and it's my first seasonal character.
It's a free character that will get that same level as you without actually doing anything, so I would say it's worth doing. You can do the time-piece quest when you feel like graduating from the season server.
@@getmysamurai i understand that. But I usually just play male characters. And I'm not interested in other classes. But I guess it's worth coz of family fame.

awsome!
Man two decent geared characters for the price of one? Pearl being pretty generous these days.
What should i do to get acessories after achieving full narchillan?
You can make tri Naru acceasories to get you started, if you have Witch’s accesories those are even better, they drop almost everywhere you grind. There are some quest accessories as well. You can use the converted tuvala accessories, or you can use tag your characters and use item copy so both your characters will have the same gear, which makes the narch gear pointless or send it to another alt character.
wait if i graduate like that i can just have a brand new season character and do the season pass all over again? i see that it renewed for your timepiece character
The progression of your season pass carries over to your time-pieced character. I didn’t take any of my season pass rewards on this account that’s why it looked like the season pass was renewed.
can i still convert the pen tuvala after the season ends on my 1st char? or i can only do it on the 2nd one that is seasonal?
In order to get the conversion stone, you need to graduate your seasonal character, who will then receive the conversion stones. Once you convert your seasonal tuvala gear all your non-seasonal characters will be able to use it.
Time-piecing a character is not equal to graduation, it’s merely swapping your normal and seasonal characters with the benefit of gaining the levels of your seasonal character.
Can you do it the other way around and give the Narchillan Gear Set to the seasonal gear and convert the tuvala set to the non seasonal?
@@getmysamurai Ok thank you so much!
Im a new player and i thought u need to get jetina and regrind tuvala pen. Is narchillian better ?
@@getmysamurai Thanks alot, i will check out the the other vids aswell. God speed my dude great vids 👑

Did I mess up if I made PEN Tuvala on my first character and I haven't yet used a timepiece or graduated? First character so that's all I was told to do before I saw this.
Nope, you’re good
Also this guide is now outdated.

TLDR after graduation PEN tuvala -> Main character, Narchillian -> Alt Characters.
@@mysteriousfigure3808 yes the converted tuvala, the boss gears, and the Narchillian are all family-wide, so all your characters can use any of them.
what if i dont have any beginner stones, is there still a chance to get the narch gear ?
If you already exhausted the beginner stones from your Main questline, you can process the normal blackstones with 3:1 ratio, but that could get expensive. The alternative I used was making another character and get the beginner stones through the main quest, should be more than enough for you to get a full set of PEN Naru and then exchange for the Narch gear.
u can always make new char and do the winter start.. it take around 2h to clear the storyline and u get tons of stone
Even if you don’t get the narchillian gear this season, you can still get it next season and will most likely be a lot easier once you got your simplified quest. If you’re new player PEN tuvala is your main priority to get the Tet Boss Gears.
I can't find the guest that gives me the time peace .. I want it so bad
Using your Level 25+ Season Character, Click "Quest" on Fughar, you might need to scroll down, it should say "Fughar's Special Timepiece" if it's not there, check your Pearl Inventory if you already have it, otherwise i'd contact support from their bdo website.
If i use the timepiece but deciede to keep the tuvala gear for my first character can i use it after the end of the season?
