The Port of Prince Rupert has the deepest natural harbour in North America and offers the shortest and fastest route to Asia on the transpacific: 11 days. It also became one of the fastest-growing in North America when UAE-based DP World acquired the Fairview Container Terminal in the Port of Prince Rupert for $580 million. The company later invested an additional $200 million in 2018.
