I've always tried to see reality vs ideals. So at a family gathering playing a board game my brother in-law said that all women are better because they are loving I actually guffawed. I was incredulous. The women of the family also commented that wasn't true. I asked about women's prisons. Now I can see that maybe he meant my sister and not women in general. But in my experience and observation my sister is unusual in her behaviors. Might have to do with growing up with three brothers. My mother was a country gal with very traditional parents with 50+ years married. My dads parents almost hit 55 years. My aunt made 62 years married. All good examples. My parents didn't make it to 50 years because cancer took my dad. Mom two months later by heartbreak. Not too many examples of family's like this anymore.

I think the important part of these being stories are that they work entirely within the imagination.
If a girl doesn't happen to have a father, the story gives her the father point of view, which can come to mind when it is relevant.
When I was a child, I noticed that girls liked to play by telling stories, so I would make up stories with them, and I would wonder where they got the ideas for their stories.
They seemed to be imitating and acting out things they had seen or heard their parents doing or saying, maybe with some stuff from television and movies, and they were acting out the stories with their little animal figures.
I preferred to play football, climb trees, and stuff like that.
Even after I grew up, I knew how to play story time with girls, and I could figure out what was going on in their lives and how they felt about it.
I would in turn add creative and funny twists to their stories, and as much as they laughed, I could see them learning ideas and strategies for dealing with things.
When the stories are alive in the children's minds, the tricks and verbal and mental play and strategies are available to them.
If they know the stories, they know what a father would say about what they are doing when they engage with men.

You know, what ever happened to these young ladies asking their parents if this guy they are swooning after is any good? My step daughter never asks what I think of her boyfriend, lol. Oh well, it's a little late now, they have 2 kids. She wouldn't want to hear what I have to say anyways. The truth hurts, like they say. He is good enough. Nobodys perfect right? I tend to think more on the lines of a blue collar worker bee. When I see someone that is lazy, I think they are not working up to their potential, and a possible liability. My heart breaks for my daughter because this man she picked is going to be in a wheelchair someday. It could happen at any time really. He won't be able to do all the things he could, and already can't chase after the kids without falling and hurting himself. He's a good person and I don't want to be hard on someone that's handicapped or special needs. They deserve what every other human does. I just know what the future entails for them, and it's not a bright one. The hardest thing for a parent to do is watch their kids suffer. I wonder if that's why she picked this guy because it's familiar. Anyways, maybe she felt sorry for him and it sparked something. I hope they figure it out without to much pain. If they love each other, that should be all that matters.
Well I had a great Sunday. I spent the morning cleaning and laid around the rest of the day. I messed up my tendons in my arm, I think they call it tennis elbow. So spending the day doing nothing brought the pain down a little. Thank you for the video! I hope you and Lola have a good week ahead. Let us know if you got your car fixed or a new one. It's GUY THING lol. We love you and God bless!

Historical reference and accuracy is so important in understanding our present day. Knowledge is power. Perhaps if women could expand their horizons beyond personal feelings (basing life on nothing but self), we'd be in a better place. I don't understand how progressives insist on "improving everything". Just because you change a fundamental concept doesn't make it better. Yeah. That's the problem.

An interesting note on your "Losers and felons" comment... The cat in the second story was basically a felon; he and the mouse were all buddy-buddy, but the cat went behind the mouse's back and ate their stock of fat for the winter. The mouse calls him out on it, and the cat swallows the mouse to cover up his crime.
Ladies... that's the bad-boy. He'll abuse you, run around, use you up, and then, if you're very very lucky, he'll just discard you. If you're especially unlucky, you'll wind up dead, like that poor little mouse.

I'm very surprised that erin never heard the disneyfied version of this first story, it's even called the frog prince. basic story, she thought it was just a frog until she kissed it then they fell in love yadda yadda yadda disney. or maybe they only released it as a little golden book. long time ago, i don't remember which it was.
The moral of the cat and mouse is sadly nothing to do with multiculturalism. the moral is for girls this time, to find someone that is a provider, that knows how to save, and to not trust blindly. in short, it's learn how to vet your partner. in this case, the mouse didn't have any direction about this cat's suitability, and chose poorly as a result.

Women desperately need a role model. Men have had heroes as role models for thousands of years. What is the ancient female role model?
If you want to do archaeology, dig into the lost role model for women. Modern women think the girlboss / entitled Disney princess is the role model they should follow, but this is like men taking a villain as the role model instead of the hero.

@@brandonflorida1092 Nobody is going to take that as a role model, because they don't understand the value. Look at all of the movies promoting the girlboss and entitled Disney princess. These are the role models for western women, and have been for decades. Women don't have good, moral women - wives and mothers - presented to them as successful women to emulate. They see that role as a failure, something to avoid. They see that nobody loves their mothers and nobody values their wives, so they don't want to be either. And stupid parents keep showing their daughters these poisonous stories that turn their children into girlbosses and entitled Disney princesses. The girls think this is the only successful life path. Hello Erin. I like that you decided to use fairy tales which is using simple mythology to reveal ideas that motivate men who have been disenchanted. Surely you are on to something. Mythology can get fairly complicated rather quickly. The psychologist Carl Gustav Jung wrote about 30 books that is mostly about mythology but some of it is fascinating to the nth degree! I am interested in science, so Jung also wrote a book about a number, 137. What is this number ? The physicist Richard Feynman wrote about this number:
“It has been a mystery ever since it was discovered more than fifty years ago, and all good theoretical physicists put this number up on their wall and worry about it. It’s one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by man. You might say the ‘hand of God’ wrote that number, and ‘we don’t know how He pushed his pencil.”
