My husband and I use Vocabulary (its an app) and we will browse through, and each use the words in a sentence, pick our favorite and try to use it in some way in the coming days for application. The first person to find a scenario it fits and correctly use it wins bragging rights for that week.

Merry Christmas! On the topic of education and goals, I want to start reading more nonfiction related to the fiction I read. For example, this year I read a sci-fi to do with octopuses (The Mountain in the Sea) and then I read a nonfic about cephalopods and the evolution of intelligence (Other Minds). I feel like it gave me a better experience then just reading one or the other.

Biggest goal this year: boundary setting with work/career stuff. The hardest part for me is a mental boundary and forcing myself to reserve time when work isn’t allowed to permeate my thoughts.
I started watching you early this year - I need to figure out how to watch on twitch lol… will download the app.

I also really love to hear your thoughts on how you approach content and community, and specifically how you feel about each platform you're on haha as a baby content creator I struggle with tiktok a lot because I also feel like I'm screaming to the void so I'm like what do I even make??? lmao

when it comes to time spending its so hard for me to know what is and isnt a bad place to spend my time. I'm a stay at home wife who is recovering from Autistic Burnout, which means there are a lot of things I can't do anymore that I used to. the severity of my adhd and autism make time tracking EXTREMELY hard, but also what I take care of in the home is stuff that kind of never goes away, like budgeting and mental work for meal planning and grocery shopping. I'm going to do my best in 2024 to spend more time on stuff that feels like joy, and less time on social media type platforms.

LHR was on my goal list last year - I began in January and honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t do this a decade ago when I realised how much I a. hate shaving (what a waste of life) but also b. prefer having less body hair.
It’s a total game changer and all the time I save not faffing about with razors or tweezers - I invest in gaming or reading or OTHER NICE THINGS!
