Put a time limit on fixed term tenancies? Wtf? That's gonna benefit the landlords, and I personally believe that landlords are not the priorities in this cost of living crisis
Uh… yeah they are. If it doesn’t benefit them to rent out their property, they’ll take it off the rental market. That means less available rentals. That means higher rents.
@@jasperhorace7147 not disproportionately. I use the term disproportionately to say that rent costs rise more than other costs. I.e., many renters put most of their income towards rent, versus many landlords having to put more money into maintaining their property, yet still it's not a higher PROPORTION of their money
