Most of my friends who’ve received DUIs, well about half of them were over 35 years of age at the time of offense. I have a theory on this, some start feeling they can safely drive while slightly buzzed because they’re experienced drivers. They fell in control and so on. Foolish confidence really.

What this is showing people is they can refuse to take a breathalyser but everyday people being pulled over for a DUI will not be treated the same way, especially if they are drunk. You won't be dealing with Sag Harbour police and you will be sitting in a jail cell to dry out.

@@LindaC616 He didn't have to spend the night in jail, there wasn't any bail, he was released immediately. That is not the normal procedure for a DUI and if a person does refuse a breathalyser they can still be subject to blood test. My implication of being sag harbour is not being small but being a wealthy town. Things are handled differently in wealthy and cottage towns.

DWI is so puss these days. If you have the slightest amount in your body they nail you. Its more about the money than safety now. I started driving in 1970 in Urban California. The Limit was something like 1.2 back then........now its like .4 or less.

New video has been released of what appears to be Justin Timberlake's car moments before he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York.
The traffic camera footage shows what has reportedly been identified as Timberlake's 2025 BMW SUV driving down a street in the Hamptons on Long Island. According to the Sag Harbor Police Department, Timberlake was pulled over at 12:37 a.m. Tuesday after failing to stop at a stop sign and not maintaining his lane of travel.
A police report indicated that an officer observed Timberlake with bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and he had trouble standing. Police added there was a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" emanating from his breath and that he "performed poorly" on all standardized field sobriety tests.
Timberlake, 43, reportedly told officers he had one martini and was following his friends home. He was held overnight and appeared for his morning arraignment, in which he pleaded not guilty before being released on bond.
Reminds me of when Paris Hilton used to get DUIs. Apparently like Hilton he can’t afford taxi, Uber or any driver.
