Every game I ever cast Descent into Avernus is a game that it makes orders of magnitude better. If you have a red deck, pull out a boring mana rock and put Descent in and you will never look back. Even when it kills you.
I remember when treasures first showed up. It was shortly before I took a hiatus from EDH. Everyone in my playgroup thought the mechanic was trash, but now when I come back all these years later, treasure is all the rage.
I have a cool budget deck with Partners Dargo, the Shipwrecker & Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel. Sac two treasures and Dargo costs 3mana, which you spend 2 from the treasures and everything you do makes Nadier HUGE! Works amazing with backgrounds like Agent of the Iron Throne
Laughs in Eye of Singularity Enchant World 3W: When Eye of Singularity comes into play, bury all permanents with the same name except basic lands. Whenever any permanent other than a basic land comes into play, bury any permanent already in play with the same name. What treasures?^^
Think the main issue really is just Dockside it's too easy to combo with it and gives way too much mana. Most other treasure cards takes work at the very minimum to make, but think they are fine beyond that one card lol. I am more so for it's ban as it affects both casual circles negatively and cEDH tables. Like Thoracle barely if ever gets used in casual tables but Dockside is too much of an autoinclude in all decks and makes mana production way too easy.
I'm just putting the final touches on a Don Andres cast-from-exile + treasure deck. Revel in Riches, Mechanized Production, Hellkite Tyrant as alt wincons with a ton of ways to exile opponent's cards. Uses the treasures to cast the exiled cards or power out the dragons at the top of the curve. Magda and Master Transmuter to cheat things into play at instant speed by consuming treasures.
losing to revel in riches as a newer player a while back was the craziest thing i was like they just want you to have ten and you win now adays you can churn out 10 treasures like nothing might have to look at a new commander instead of breeches so i can get the black and blue treasure cards involved.
Storm Kiln Artist is sitting in the 99 of a currently-sidelined Thrakkus (the Butcher) One Punch (Dragon) Man brew, where as the copy of Dockside Extortionist I hard-casted the mana (cash) from my wallet for is sitting in the 98 of my Dargo//Breeches mono-red pirates... sharing the 98 along with Ragavan, because sometimes the jank needs a turbo boost. Gluntch (the Bestower) is group hug, but... the deck I built around him is not. My brother in Yasharn, what in the Gaddock Teeg have I done, lmao. My Burakos//Haunted One party deck has some good synergy and a bit of interaction with the treasures produced, but it doesn't necessarily focus on it. My second dungeon brew is actually a dedicated treasure deck, with Safana//Guild Artisan at the helm, and it has all the initiative and venture into the dungeon cards available in black, red, and colorless, including the two precon exclusives. Like Varis (Silverymoon Ranger) giving me an excuse to include a considerable amount of elf synergy, this brew gave me the excuse to build a dedicated treasure deck.
I'm starting to run a little bit of artifact hate! Shutting off artifact cards so they dont trigger. That's because I'm a better Commander Hyena!!!! And I'm cheap and I don't like you spending all that treasure. Jk, I don't really care if you have treasures. I hope you can deal with my 14/14 with trample and haste Jack Spearow!!!! Have a good day everybody!
I cast Legions To Ashes- Sorcery 1BW Exile target nonland permanent and all tokens with the same name that player controls. I hope you got something to cast instant speed or else your stash is trash brother
In commander, you're the real treasure Nicky G. Keep bein' you brother
Thanks. I shall carry your name "user-xv1ht4ql2w" within my heart, like a golden flower petal.
Treasures debuting with Pirates, my favorite as I also love artifact tokens

I do love that card.
@@bettercommanderspoken like someone who knows how to embrace the spirit of Red, brother
Don't sleep on Mr. House. If you want a nice theme for making treasures theres nothing better than a corrupt casino rigging the dice in their favor
I do like that card, may have to build a deck for Mr. House.
I'm just glad they stuck with treasure instead of going full steam with gold tokens

Treasure was trash, but now it's treasure

He is one commander I do want to build in paper
The “ office space” vibe is legend!
Never heard that But I love it.
Repulse was from Invasion, I am ancient asf and used to play it in Standard.
Love your stuff Nicky G

Don Andres
It can make enough by itself if someone plays a wrath spell.

Built a “fun” Ognis deck w threaten effects.
Keep up the great work , brother !!
Thanks my dude
"Artifact deck with no combos", I'd like to see that, how do artifacts decks not just stumble onto combos by accident 😊 great video brother
Saheeli the gifted, though it may have some incidental combos I don't know about.
Good content as always brother.
Keep it up 👍
Amen brother!
your videos are the real treasures 😘
You're a pearl of kindness and goodwill
hell yeah brotherrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! loving it man
Thanks for the support brother.
I cast Ten Dockside Extortionists for 9R, it enters and i make 100 treasures.
I take 4 dockside extortionists and a piece of farmland. We make 100 potatoes and eat real good tonight.
