Goats can be remarkably sweet. My niece became obsessed with goats and talked her mom into getting two. One was shy but the other an absolute baby. Unfortunately he developed neurological issues and it got so bad he ended up needing put down, which was really sad. But it was the first time I saw how sweet goats could be.
Don't understand how someone can just abandon an animal. It makes me cry just thinking how lonely she was. You sweet lady is her angel 😇 she is bursting with happiness. Thank you for saving her and letting her know she is loved. 🐐❤
Thank GOD you Found this poor Beautiful Goat who was all alone on an Island! Despite the mysteries of why she was there and her past,, she was still such a Sweet❤. What counts is that CYPRESS IS SO HAPPY NOW in the Sanctuary. GOD bless you for everything you have done to give her the Life she Deserves.

why in the world would anyone want to abandon such a sweet goat like Cypress?? I am just glad that you were able to rescue her and bring her to such a wonderful place to live.

WHY do people do this?! There are numerous incidents of dogs being abandoned on islands! Think of the many that are not discovered! What an awful heartless thing to do! I’m sure they could have found a place for the goat!
I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but if you look at this logically it'd doubtful someone put a goat on a boat... sailed all the way out to an island and dumped it. If you're gonna dump an animal, you just find an empty field a mile away and dump it. What most likely happened here is this animal got swept away in a flood/storm into a river. Then got dumped into a bay/channel/inlet and eventually swam to this island... or the goat walked over to this island during the dry season and got stuck.
I don't get how people just abandon these animals. I guess I'll never understand. Thank goodness for people like you who restore some faith in humanity.
