- Hey folks. Parker York Smith here talking about how to style a denim shirt. They're one of my favorite pieces in men's fashion because they make me feel a lot more masculine whenever I wear one. I put together 6 outfit ideas, tell you about the different kinds of denim shirts, and also what color shirts are best to buy.
Knowing how to wear a denim shirt is extremely helpful in looking good. Western style shirts are great if you like more outdoorsy looks and chambray shirts are great if you want the versatility to wear it with casual or slightly more dressy outfits.
Whether you're wanting to try a denim shirt for the first time, you have one already, or you aren't sure whether it's something you'd be into, I think there are outfits that everyone would look good in.
Just remember it's one of the most classic pieces in mens fashion, so stick to a standard design, don't go too crazy.

In case anyone is looking for an amazing recommendation: Tellason produces a western shirt (called the Topper), a 7.5 oz dark wash selvedge denim that softens and fades more over time. It's a bit pricey (just shy of $200), but it's super durable and ethically made in the US.

Perfect!! Yeah you do have to be a bit careful but they’re also really easy to bleach
Question about the colors, what will you say about what I believe some will say exotic colors. Like a red denimi shirt for example, or navy, and etc etc. will you say those special colors are harder to combine or are they still options just a certain color need to be kept in mind to get the most out of it.

I can’t find a denim jacket that fits. I swear if your not skinny the denim jackets need to be 2 sizes bigger. No way I’m wearing a 2x.
I really struggle with double denim. Two exceptions I can see working (but only just!) is black with a light-wash-blue (not any darker). Another remote possibility is all black denim, monotone. But even with these 2 exceptions, I rarely wear double-denim, something just feels wrong about it.

@@sinchanbanerjee66Look into “investing” on good quality (Goodyear welted) boots like Grant Stone, Thursday boots, Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill, etc. Footwear is the most important part of an outfit. And you don’t want to buy crap brands like Aldo.

Can you help me so my parents got a denim jean long sleeve shirt it’s like a thinner version of a Jean denim jacket and well they’re was no small size for the denim shirt so they got large and it fits but why is the back popping out I washed it like 3 times and dried it
