I fell in love with the obs ford recently with my purchase of a 1000 dollar Iowa rustbox F-150 from 93 with the windsor 5.0. It's a fun truck, and someday I hope to restore it. But anyways, after researching the obs for a few months, I love the 7.3 powerstroke. I need to learn manual too, always wanted to. Nice truck! I’m a GM guy, but that’s a sweet truck.. Back when a truck was still a truck.. Now they are just SUV’s with beds.. Every stupid option and crap you never use or need.
I need this 🔥. Really makes me regret sellin my 96 except it was auto. Have a 93 idi 5sp and I agree the zf shifts really tight and nice compared to the nv4500.
Hell id even rip out that cd player and throw in an am/fm cassette deck and mount a cb radio in er and run er like it is. That truck screams perfection. I got the exact same truck 7.3 5 speed 4x4 with 123k on the odometer. Canadian truck lol. Two tone back and silver. But living in the maritimes has rotted her away over the years she needs a cab, the floor is nonexistent at this point lol
Oh my goodness look how promiscuous that blood red interior is on the 7.3 ❤. All she needs is some 300 % injectors and few minor other mods and she will be a beast 🙏
300% is extremely overkill for “minor mods” on a OBS. Even my 180/30’s will smoke out a city block, and would surpass 1500° quickly while towing pre intercooler. 160/30’s or even 160/0’s are plenty for a minor mods 7.3.
