Hi Kal! Very useful John. I tend to not do these kind of shots as they seem to require way more flaffing about (such as your use of flags etc). It is easy to overdo the background light and create a 'washed out look'. Most of all though I find they are kinda 'clinical/medical' looking images, which of course I understand the necessity for many sectors for this so that they can seamlessly merge in the picture with the website/browser etc but it's just not to my personal taste. In the description you should link to some samples on your site or something as those are really good! Anyway... AI is here now to do these corporate shots from smartphone selfies... rip photographers! 😢
I much prefer grey over white most of the time but larger corporate clients still ask for pure white a lot as it's consistent even if the shoots are months apart...with grey it's difficult to get it bang on identical months apart.
