We Survived Beasley Knob in Blairsville, GA

- Beasley Knob in Blairsville, GA is a Jeep Badge of Honor trail system or at least trail 93B is. We did not even attempt trail 93B because we were warned prior that the trail has now become home to rigs on 38/40in tires. Also take note that the Forest Service Management will close Beasley Knob through out the year if the area gets to much rain. Most of the trail system is pretty easy to navigate the terrain on 35in tires. Our 4dr Jeep was scrubbing the belly on the water breaks and some of the tight turns required some attention to ensure no body damage. Some trails can be managed on smaller tires as there were a few 4Runners on the trail. Thank you Matt and Crystal for the invite we had an awesome time.

Who else has been to Beasley Knob? Anyone try trail 93B?
I've done 93B a few times, check out my channel for the videos.
@@TORA-COMMANDO I'll head over there now and watch. thanks.
Are you doing anything this Saturday?
@@danielmembrillo6472 promised the wife I’d take her to see some water falls.
Awww come on now I did beasley knob on an ATV. I mean I couldn't feel my arms afterwards lol. And no I didn't do 93b
Thanks for taking us on the ride!
You’re Welcome and thanks for watching
Good to see y’all out on trail again. Looks like a great trail.
Man it was awesome
I went all through Beasley knob with a 2016 jku rudicon hard rock 100% stock and didn’t get stuck once. Solo vehicle no winch
And you did trail 93B?
@@Georgia4Low
All of it I believe so. It was in august of 21 and some crazy deep ruts. I had no idea it was that rough and I can’t believe I didn’t get stuck or break anything. I had to completely slide down one of the steep hills going back to that middle area that starts the numerous trails. I just sent it. Jku rubicon hardrock edition kicked butt using the auto sway disconnect and the auto lockers
Trail 93B is reported to be 37/40in tire territory and can few hrs to complete with winch line being pulled. Thanks for watching
Great video!
Looks like a lot of fun up there.
it's a great trail system that loops around to everything. only takes a few hrs to complete most trails. thanks for watching
Man that goatee is awesome
Thanks man!!
Headed out to Beasley this weekend for sure. Not sure what trail yet but 93D was on our list.
nice, let me know if you hit 93B, would like a report back on it. Folks told me prior to our trip to stay away if we didn't have 40's.
@@Georgia4Low
Will do for sure. We are in Blairsville for the rest of this week and weekend. Planning on Beasley and Flatlands.
@@moultonmotox have fun, video or it didn't happen lol
@@Georgia4Low coming soon!
Hey I found y'all! We were that group of three Toyotas around 9:30!
Awesome Man!! Did ya have a good time?
@@Georgia4Low absolutely. Thanks for including us in your video.
@@bearoverlandandoutdoors thank you for watching
@@bearoverlandandoutdoors Was great to see ya'll really working those trucks!
Its unfortunate all the jeep guys tear everything up so bad the side by sides don't have to winch out of everything that's when the Forrest service and EPA get involved and shut these national Forrest trails down
That’s an arguable point for sure. I’ve seen bad trail use from side x side, ATV users as well as Jeep folks.
@@Georgia4Low this trail system wasn't really isn't meant for jeeps anymore it's become so rough and rutted that your daily driver just isn't going to make it without constantly spinning getting stuck on obstacles and digging the ruts out worse it's not a place for a jeep with just a 4 inch lift and 35s the center clearance on a side by side lends itself to not being prone to bottom out on the axle housing it's just a better setup they are constantly shutting down state ohv parks for the erosion and there needs to be a happy medium somehow like jeep only trails and ATV/UTV trails
At the time of the video we did every trail minus 93B with zero issues on our 35’s. I decided to winch out the one section in place of spinning and tearing up the trails. I’m sure the trails have gotten beat even more since we have been. We tread lightly, I don’t understand folks smoking tires when they get stuck, just pull winch line and go.
side by sides and atv's tear up trails just as much as any 4x4.
@@bearfoot25 not nearly as much jeeps cause the wider ruts and most of your typical jeep owners are just awful off road drivers and they sit there and spin and spin before they decide to winch out of something a side by side would have just crawled right up I've gotten stuck behind countless jeeps while out riding and they will take an hour on an obstacle that our group of 10 get through in 15 minutes
Thank y'all for y'all's videos here. I am from SC and I'm looking to get out to Beasley Knob sometime in April once it opens back up but I am trying to figure out which trails are going to be good options for our vehicles. We are going to have a 5th Gen TRD 4Runner on 34s (285/75 ko2 w/ 3.5/3" Icon lift), 5th gen 4runner SR5 on 33s (285/70 ko2 2.5/1.5" Dobinsons lift), and then a 3rd Gen Tahoe with open diffs on 33x12.50 Toyo MTs. 4Runners have sliders/skids and one has a winch but no armor on the Tahoe. Do y'all have a good path that would be something these vehicles can handle or know which trails would be a good fit. Was looking at maybe going clockwise on 93c from FS 851, down 93E and then take 93D back to 93F where we would go back up to 93C and out. I have no idea if this is feasible or not so any help would be appreciated. Thank you
stay away from 93B. I wish I had a better understanding of the trail numbers, we were following another Jeep with all the mapping etc. Sorry.
Anything with a roll cage. Lol. Or a roof. It's nerve wracking on an atv
I went up the main trail and then went left up the mountain to almost the end. Got a little steep for me right on the backside. The lower trail was pretty rutted and muddy for me but jeeps and SxS can do that one. Stay off 93b
@@thecasualatvguy617 lol you get the iron man award
@Georgia 4Low naw I get the "holy shit my arms are jello and i might die" award
Is there any spots to camp on this trail system? We headed out there next month for the weekend.
my understanding camping is not allowed.
Beasley 93b isnt too bad; we went up it back in march-april with a group of jeeps mostly on 35s
nice, that's the complete opposite of what folks were telling me. We'll return likely next season as I doubt we will get another chance this year due to rains and winter closure and try it out.
I'm heading there in sept and gonna try it! ant tips would be appreciated
Everything is pretty straight forward and not super technical expect trail 98b I think it’s called. If it’s wet it will be challenging for sure. 98B is likely 40in tire terrain these days.
@@Georgia4Low yea next year going bigger im at 33s with 2.5lift Thanks gonna check it out got two days. I seen there a few spots on the map to go to for the trails.I wanna try it though love the challenging trails
Ya have fun!!
I'm sorry if I missed it but what trail was this in your video at Beasley Knob?
Sorry but we were following someone with a trail map. I didn’t really pay attention to the trail numbers. I can tell you it’s not 93B.
Hey Arthur, hope you're doing well. Do you still own that 08 WR450F? If not, would you ever plan on getting a newer model with fuel injection and converting it to a dual-sport? I haven't been an active member of the channel so I don't know if things changed. Thanks!
~Fynn
Hey Fynn, I sold the WR450F about 2 years ago. I have since moved out of dual sport riding, but if I had the bug to get back in it I’d likely go with something already dual sported off the showroom floor like a KTM, Husky, etc. Yamaha needs to get onboard and dual sport that dang WR450F, I’d really like to set up a 700T for enduro/dual sport
@@Georgia4Low Got it! I think buying a factory plated dual-sport like KTM and Husky is a good move. The 500 EXC-F has won nearly every shootout and it's been around of a while. The Yamaha comes fully legal in Australia but not here... probably has to do with California. Thanks again for the update!
Didn't even try immediately pulled hook. Lmao
Well I did try it once with little throttle input then pulled line. The Jeep in front us torn his rear fender off and pushed in the rear corner, so pulling line it was.
That abended Dodge truck has been removed by Wally with Carolina Crawler Adventures. It's a shame that someone just left their junk on the trail.
What's really cool is Wally repaired the truck and drove it out of the trails. I must say besides the truck that's the cleanest trails I've seen recently.

@@TORA-COMMANDO would love to but we are leaving on Sunday to go to Florida. Keep me posted on any future rides. Thanks for the invite

@@Georgia4Low I wasn't gonna say it, but...
